I just bought a radiator from you guys. The video made it easy to install. I love your how to videos 1AAuto is the how to get it done. I buy alot of parts for vehicles it's nice to dIY auto repair.
Just ordered another part from you guys! Parts are amazing... so far, i ordered a signal switch, water pump, a/c blower motor, radiator fan, and radiator. Thanks so much! Really wish i could do the radiator myself but...
I ordered a radiator from you guys and watched this video and super glad I did. I was seeing some delamination and thought it was my rad falling apart. Turns out my rad is fine, it was the Ac condenser, they look very similar. Hope it fixes my fan and engine heat issue! The fan doesn’t kick on even after 20-30 minutes idling. Never overheated, though. Thank you 1aAuto!

Thanks for your instructional videos they have helped me on several issues that are problematic with this vehicle. My transmission oil cooler lines are in great shape unlike the ones in this video however, even though I have ensured the retaining clips are fully secured in place this is by far the worst connection I have ever seen in my life mine leaks none stop and I have to refill the transmission fluid every other week which is another ridiculous procedure in its self. Is there anything that you know of that I can do to stop this leaking short of epoxying or JB welding this joint?
How will you know how much transmission fluid is gone with the radiator? I think one needs to replace the transmission fluid at the same time, unless you know how much TF was lost and can refill it. Thank you for the video, you guys are awesome and make excellent videos. Labour costs for this job are approx. $300-350. One can do this easily at home with normal tools from store. Saves a lot of money. Thank you once again!
You gotta take the transmission mount off under the car and then there is a bolt holding the little yellow dipstick in.. There is a video on changing tranny cooler lines for this video from another channel and it will show you exactly how to do it
I would like to top off the transmission fluid after the swap, as i recently changed atf and equinox trannys are picky. How much would i need to add? Few ounces? 1/4 qt?
Did this job not at 100 percent and it was easy the only thing is make sure the transmission cooler lines click in all the way... if not the driver will feel a jerk and no gear... stop and get the car parked safely... do not panic what happened is all the transmission fluid escaped and the transmission is running with no fluid... ok how to fix the problem... make sure you hear and feel the click on the transmission cooler line and jerk on it as hard as you can to ensure its clicked or check with mirrors... underneath the car there is a motor mount that is 4 bolts... 3 15mm and one 18mm.. remove the mount and you will see the transmission dip stick.. there is your mode of entry to add new fluid... as you remove the dipstick yeah it will be dry... you need a transmission funnel with a long hose... add new transmission fluid please ask Google for the correct fluid it's not all the same... 4 quarts... once checked fluid is good... oh yeah there is a 12mm holding the dipstick down... once finished make sure everything goes back... and problem solved... if the car was not ran you should be ok... if any other problem persist transmission needs to be diagnosed

Obviously buddy... bleed the system and release all air bubbles..he does fail to mention that at the end... if the system had air bubbles the system will overheat

Reminder to check the trans fluid after the job is finished!
chris simon , how and where can I add the fluid?
How will you know how much transmission fluid is gone with the radiator?

@christo 4513 the dipstick for the transmission is right above the transmission mount. There is a yellow dipstick and bolt holding it on
You gotta take the transmission mount off under the car and then there is a bolt holding the little yellow dipstick in..

Good luck with this car. Can’t find the dip stick
Whole lot this is a real good video thanks for the tip on the transmission hose connectors
Made the job very very very easy. Thanks much!!!!

What is the point of disconnecting the fan connections if you disconnect the fan anyway?
Huh?
Good job. Thank you.

+Lily Luna Thanks for the feedback!
How much coolant does it take to refill the system back to full? Trying to determine how many jugs of coolant to buy.
Nice video thanks it help 👍
I know this is a older video but can anyone answer me this. Does the tranny fluid need drained as well? Or would it be fine leaving it in there?
Rubber grawmets?it looks like I have antifreeze leaking from there . Do I need a new radiator?or can I replace those rubber things?
you can replace them, amazon and autozone has them. just gotta know the size of it. I would recommend replacing the clamps as well. just did this
Great video.
Followed step by step and now my car won’t cut on. I can’t even lock the door with the key fob. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a heater core issue
Surprised that those bolts at the top of the condenser were able to rust with the amount of blue loctite that came on them from the factory.
Algún video de cómo reemplazar los abanicos en una 2006 Chevy Equinox?
Price this job
So what's the labor price for this radiator replacement?

What exactly does that funnel do
The funnel allows you to bleed the system at the end air bubbles will cause the system to overheat
No need to bleed the system?
Obviously buddy... bleed the system and release all air bubbles..he does fail to mention that at the end... if the system had air bubbles the system will overheat
How do you bleed it? And when ?
@@shellybelle6781 there should be a bleeder valve in line with the hoses
that condenser was wrestled with just leave the fan attached and switch the parts... more than likely you changed the condenser also
