i’m gonna tell you the absolute truth about bars head gasket sealant I looked on my phone. It had excellent reviews. This was over two years ago January the beginning of January 2 years ago bars head gasket leak had great reviews so I said I’ll try it for 50 bucks. I have a Ford Ranger six-cylinder 2005. I blew the head gasket. I’m telling you the god’s honest truth I put the bars head gasket seal in the radiator. I went by the directions and I’m telling you the gods honest truth that truck has been on the road for a little over two years. It’s got 235,000 miles on it it doesn’t burn oil it doesn’t leak water. That is the most amazing stuff I’ve ever seen and Iam 68 years old and you can put that down for a testimony because it’s a god’s honest truth.

Hey Buck, that's for the video. My '01 Grand was giving me coolant vapor/smell for over a year. I used the "Stop Leak" with wetter water ( what ever the hell that is). Anyway w/a clean cooling system I pulled the heater hose inlet and dumped a whole bottle into the heater core. It worked!!!!! So far, a heater core replacement is a nightmare on '99-'04 Grands. Mine's a 4.0 with 175,600 on it, it's lifted and sweet. Thanks Buck.

Depending on the coolant leak.. heater core or radiator.. GM stop leak tablets do work usually.

Excellent video. Everybody with any interest in basic vehicle maintenance who enjoys a little humor should be required to watch your content. It is outstanding.
But…..I am pretty sure that your glitter was from Hobby Lobby and not from Michael’s.

Years ago I had a Dodge Caravan leaking coolant through the head gasket. The vehicle wasn't worth the price of a new head gasket so I tried using stop-leak. I don't remember what brand I used. I drove that van every day for 4 months until it started leaking again from the same place. Another bottle of stop-leak kept it running for 3 more months when some unrelated issues made me reitire the van. Stop-leak extended the life of that van by 7 months and over 10,000 miles. That gave me time to sock away more money for its replacement.

Years and years ago as a kid I bought an 8 year old 1960 Oldsmobile. While mileage was under 40k, one day I noticed the smell of coolant. After investigating, I realized there was a pinhole leak in the heater core. Used Bars. Stopped the leak in minutes. Only kept the car two years after that so not sure how it held up.

the real right wrong way is to use a egg. just crack a egg into er and i promise you it works. combat mechanic vet. you can also patch holes in the oil pan with a rubber freeze plug but you need the springy metal anchors for drywall. the v shaped ones. will also patch holes in the engine in a coolant passage. dang fmj wasps in middle eastern countries. there just flying around everywhere poking holes in everything and everyone

think, think, think about what you are doing?
Putting a clogging agent into an engine cooling system.
ask yourself if that sounds smart

How'd you know I have a coolant leak? Hoping it's not the water pump. Only leaks at night when it's cooler out so thinking a gasket leak. One never knows with these Jeeps tho.

@@DEInTheGarage You'll be replacing it anyway due to the flow you're about to clog with that snake oil.
