This blue jet seemed to occur in complete isolation from other lightning activity in contrast to the event that you posted on Twitter. It seems like they initiated in a vastly different manner. I think the first flash in this video was just positive crawlers and not connected to ground in any way. I think the brightness in the cloud during that flash was the negative end of that flash.
I'm thinking there was a tower there because there were numerous similar upward /outward strokes in that spot over the time I was watching. You could be right though
