i dont agree with Kevin's rationalising of him being "loved less" etc but like...the reactions to him speaking his mind are nuts! what do people think happens at therapy?!
I don't think he was loved less but that's how he *felt* and that is important as well because clearly it affected how he developed into an adult, and I can see how he could feel that way. They watched Kate like a hawk because of her weight and they showered Randall with attention because of he was adopted and visually different from the rest of the family. They assumed that Kevin was the "normal" kid who didn't need as much attention because he didn't have issues like the other two did. Their bandwidth was spent on the other two, leaving not much leftover for him. But that in turn created the issue of him feeling neglected. That's why he was so resentful and jealous of Randall and why he was so co-dependent with Kate. It happens in families all the time. This scene and the feelings Justin Hartley is portraying are spot on and very valid.
I mean, Kevin isn’t wrong.....
But not completely alone cause despite everyone flaws everyone still loves him❤️
