Thank you for this video, i went out and bought some lincoln excaliber rods cuz i heard good things about them on yt and tried using them yesterday and was having a super hard time, i conpared it to the regular lincoln rods they have at home lowes and for some reason those where running way better but this whole time ive been on electrode negative because im a noob and seen some videos of people saying run negative, so i thought i might hqve wasted my money but now kinda stoked to see if reversing it will change the outcome and also maybe make my welds look even better on the regular lincolns
Well, i hope this does not come across as me being a smart ass, this is not my intention. 1:39 i would say reversed polarity not reverse polarity Per text book definition DCEP is reverse polarity And DCEN is straight polarity. I mean of course i know what you meant…. The “regular/standard” polarity for 7018 is DCEP….. and you are reversing it …. Anyway.
