I love when people point out how clear-cut (easy to understand, even through screaming) Randy Blythe's vocals are, and can't help but think it must be a regional thing. The former and current singers for Gwar, another metal band from Richmond, VA, do the same thing.

Last week in The LFR Family Discord, we had a Duel between 5 songs of Black Label Society vs Five Finger Death Punch. It was my son’s first duel and he had BLS and won. The one thing one of our huge BLS fans asked was, Why the hell didn’t he have in this river as one of his songs. LOL. You should join if you’ve not already. The duels are a blast along with the live hangouts.

I saw Pantera back in the 90's more times than I could count, they weren't too to famous then and just playing regular shows around Austin and San Antonio.
Lamb of God is the only other band i've ever seen where I enjoyed the shows as much as the old Pantera ones. Also seen Philips (The singer from Pantera) newer band superjoint ritual when they opened for Danzig, and holy crap Danzig puts on a hell of a show!!!!

Love me some lamb of god. Check out omertà for that mafia vibe or blood of the scribe. Desolation is raw and aggressive especially if you play the short previous sone straight for the sun together. Broken hands is great, ghost walking is about addiction. Walk with me in hell is an anthem for that lonely feeling. I love all of their work and you can’t go wrong on albums two through like 6 or 7… I’ll watch you discover how awesome they are daily. Much love man to you and your fam.

There's another guy in your comments that's been recommending "In This River" live from Black Label Society's "Doom Troopin" DVD (ua-cam.com/video/HdS7i6xy7_w/v-deo.html), and I'm gonna recommend it too because it's one of the most mind-blowing live guitar performances ever. Zakk Wylde (BLS's guitarist) was good friends with Dimebag Darrell from Pantera, and that performance is his tribute to Dimebag. He's playing one of Dime's guitars for it too.
