Recently got to Experience the Tour around Te Mana. When it was docked in Wellington. Absolutely Loved it and hopefully will get a chance to work aboard when i join the Navy. Amazing Crew.
At 1:20 it's mentioned the 5-inch guns have different panel shapes. Is HMNZS Te Mana fitted with a Mod 4 Mk45 gun while Te Kaha has the Mod 2 variant? Was there any reason for the difference? Thanks!
Yes we need harpoons for both the frigates and the new P8’s to deter the Chinese communist party, as they think we are ripe for the picking thanks to weak politicians.
Why we swap the Mk.41 Missile system, God knows, Sea Ceptor 20 VLS. 2 × 8 Cell VLS which the Anzac Frigates are designed for, 8 × 4 Quadpacked, 64 ESSM. More Fire power
@@lucvader_1What's the point in getting rid of our combat ships for logistics ships, that support combat ships? It make little sense to me. Can you please explain?
I agree, bearing in mind how aggressive the CCP is now, soon they will be trying to assert NZ is part of their ‘greater prosperity sphere’ as justification for their push through the western pacific to secure resources.
WOULD BE GOOD TO SEE THESE FRIGATES UPHOLD THE ANTARCTICA TREATY AGREEMENT AND SEND ALL THOSE WHALING VESSELS DOWN THERE VIOLATING THE AGREEMENT.....PACKING ,FOR GOOD. THE TREATY STATES....THERE SHALL BE NO RESOURCES EXPLOITED IN THE ANTARTIC. THE ADERN GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE MAKING THE MOVES HERE.

Nice overview, thanks for posting.
Well, that definitely has changed. As a kid I saw my brother aboard Te Kaha, saw Te Mana too, bridge looks a lot different.
Wow fantastic video. Thank you.

Just realized the camera can be moved around if watching on an ipad
Thank you Te Mana
No Harpoon missiles then?

Apparently it has nothing to hit back with. All light defensive armament.
They have them just not fitted
Love the video

No anti ship missiles? What armament does these ships have to hit back with. All average defensive armament shown.
Just need 2 more
We need 4 of them altogether 👍

Bye 4 type 31, upgrade the weapons
Chur Te Mana. NAVY!
At least a wide range of capabilities
I'm amazed the woke NZ govt didn't specify the removal of the main gun. After all it does look quite offensive.
You ok mate... you need a hug?
You seem offended by this video
Lol
Hanger? Bahahaha. Spelling anyone? What’s in there? A wardrobe.

Te Kaha has been down there previously - ADERN was a waste of space
