All I knew when I first heard the Bad Wolves version was that I "liked" the song and that it was called Zombie. A few weeks later I'm looking it up and remember around January this year when I was on a Blind Guardian Binge I had seen the thumbnail for The Cranberries Zombie, which did not interest me at the time. Now That I remembered the cranberries version existed I just looked up the song on wikipedia. What followed was a good 15 minutes of pain and sorrow as I read about the IRA Warrington Bombings, The passing of the two child victims, The song's Protest message, And the Passing of Dolores O'riordan the day she was to record with Bad Wolves. The Next five minutes was quiet sobbing as I watched the Music Video for Bad wolves Zombie. Do not get the impression that I am a Fan of the Cranberries, Because I would have to listen to more of their songs to be a fan. Do not think I hate the band because I haven't listened to more of their music. I'm Just a guy who fell down the wrong rabbit hole one night and wound up here. May her children know peace, joy and love despite the loss of their mother.

Having said that we all struggle with demons.. and it kills me when I watch them win.. or even the moments they win in my own battles
It is sad that she passed. She really changed the face of rock music, and music as a whole back in the '90s. By the way, I struggle with certain demons also, such as OCD, and am in the process of crushing them... :)
