In this video we will go over the 4 inch trifold mattress that we purchased on Amazon.
We went back-and-forth between the 4 inch and the 6.
The main reason we went with the 4 inch was because we would not be able to see through the back window with the mattress folded up. It probably would have been more comfortable on the 6 inch mattress but there’s always a price for comfort. Plus the 6 inch was literally twice the price.

I’ve been using a mattress in my SUV and then Prius V for the last 14 years. Started as a result from neck injury and wanting to rest at lunch time. I’ve taken many a naps and gone car camping this way. Added deflectors over the windows so you can leave the windows slightly open in the rain. Also bought some cheap mesh nets that fit over the windows so bugs don’t come in at night with windows rolled down.

the problem I see with this arrangement is you guys aren't showing other things that most people would be bringing with them on their travels which could make it hard to figure out where to put what, esp. if they don't have a cartop carrier...

Howdy, I’ve been recently looking to buy a Prius V. From what I’ve been hearing is that these vehicles start going downhill around 150k miles with EGR/head gasket issues and eventually around 200k they need a completely new engine. Now I don’t know how true this is because I haven’t gathered enough info from enough people but I’m curious if you’ve experienced any of these issues?
