I am 29. The 2000s were high school for me. The trends were awful. Tank tops over t shirts, belts worn outside of the loops, super low rise jeans that gave every body shape a muffin top. 🤢🤮

Omg! I didn't know academia was so popular, I mean I did suggest it because I've been seeing it more recently but still 🤩 I love the style for autumn/winter. Also I've been trying to get back into reading, I used to devour books and I haven't been able to pick up a book for some years, so it gets me into the right vibes 😍😍
Also I wish I was a university student (or witch 😆) at Cambridge, but like in a movie with adventures and cool stuff haha

Honestly, I know nothing about the whole TikTok styles, but I absolutely love your version of the Soft Girl, CottageCore and Academia! Definitely outfits I could imagine wearing myself! I grew up in the 2000s as well, one of the best decades for sure. But I'm not sure the 2000s style should be brought back!

“Y2K” is not actually year 2000’s it’s just black girl aesthetic. It wasn’t popular until now because when black women who made that style wore it they were overly sexualized and called ghetto but when Paris Hilton wore it it became “high fashion”. Everyone loved calling Hispanics and black people ghetto but copy our styles. We are the blueprint. 💕.
