Making a marriage last is more important than a wedding. I've seen people break up and still in debt over their wedding. Marriage is way more than a fancy dress and a dream wedding. It really is a blessing to have a companion.
Some people see their boyfriend as their companion and don’t feel like they have to change their name to do that. As she said “getting married does it make it less likely for your partner tot leave”. You can be happy independently but I agree marriage is more important than wedding
Freddy, I dont even know if you realize it, but you appear wise beyond your years. I surely understand the pressure your job must put on you, but I must say that the fact that you put your whole heart and focus on putting up only what you truly believe is amazing and so appreciated.. Your videos make my day happier and, as someone struggling with mental and sometimes physical ilness, Im so GRATEFUL for all you do. You make me company while I work out, talk to me while I wash my dishes, inspired my outfits and just yesterday I was online shopping and choose between two sandals by asking myself "what would freddy choose?" (it was the nicer, more delicate, blush pink one, btw hahaha)

Also, I don't think opening up like you did in this video takes anything at all away from your professionalism or public image. Freddy talking about not getting married gives me lifeeee. I was a bit unsure if she's like traditional and all that considering her style and likes and dislikes, but this really made me so happy and empowered that she's showing that you can be an absolutely classical woman, without conforming to patriarchal ideas of changing your surname and having kids asap after 25 or whatever people tell women they should do ❤❤❤ I agree with everything except my choice is not to have kids at all, but to each their own. I noticed back in 2019 the change in your videos. And I'd watch your videos before but that change was breathtaking. Often your videos on the surface are "silly little fashion videos" but in reality how you have decided to be yourself in them makes them wonderful pieces of art. And the one with JJ in was everything- I'd never ask for more because I understand and appreciate that whole personal vs professional boundary. I look up to you so so much. I’m in a long distant relationship right now with my boyfriend of seven years. I wanted to rush marriage because I thought of it as security- but the way you talked about it really made me think. We are still pretty young but I know it’s still a love that will last forever. And like you said- what’s so and so years compared to a lifetime? It really gave me a new perspective about our relationship because being apart makes me so depressed. But there truly is a romance in missing each other, and there’s also something relieving about just having the space to focus on myself and then getting to be excited every few months when we do get to see each other. I’ve been following you, Freddy, since your first year on youtube and you have always been my favorite youtuber. 2020 was just a year. I had an injury, then my mom passed, and then my business shut down, and that was just the beginning... so much heartbreak.
Same, my mother passed two days before the New Year. Family members dying from COVID. It was rough. But we will get through this...my condolences....I really hope 2021 becomes better but we can't say for sure. I'm a new subscriber to Freddy and she makes me feel so at ease.

Don't worry about having kids anytime soon. My mum had me at 37 and my older sister at 34 and I've never felt that my mum is a lot older than other mums. You have got all the time to think about it and you'll know when the time is right ❤️

I absolutely LOVE how independent you are it is SO refreshing ! I try and tell myself not to rush my life so much but it is so easy to get caught up in the life of you tubers who have everything sorted by 23. Including living with partners, kids house it’s just not realistic for most people

Yall, Im 31. The number of times Ive gotten asked by random men (usually in thier 30s, 40s, 50s) in the check out line if I was married, if I had children, and why not? That or they just assume I dont want those things.

I do want marriage and kids. I want to adopt as well as being pregnant. Which means in my case I could be happy with only giving birth to one child. I may be 36 or 37 by the time that happens. I just havent met the right person yet.
And honestly the more pressure I get the more it makes me want to dig in my feet and take my time.
Don't let others pressure you into anything, especially having children when you're not ready.
I have married und given birth to my children pretty early compared to the average woman in my country. Everyone was like "you have to have children", "they are the greatest thing in life". In my first pregnancy everyone else was enthusiatic, but after given birth, they come see the newborn and leave and you're the one who has to go through the pain and bodily changes. You're are the one who has to wake up every two hours feeding the baby at night. You're the one who's life is completely changed. So the person who has the be completely ready for it is you.

I have never been on a plane but I have always wanted to go to places like New York, Paris, London etc, but I obviously haven’t gone before, but watching your travel diaries makes me feel like I’m actually there and I’m on a real holiday. And I am just a bit older than you so I entirely understand not feeling ready for some of those things, a couple of years ago it all seemed so far away and now I am in a place in life where I'm wanting everything. So it's understood. Also you just have such an amazing outlook, and such poise it is unmatched and I absolutely love it. You are most definitely one of my all time favorite people on UA-cam, my fiance knows it, he always knows on Mondays when I'm like "sh busy" it's Freddy time and he will watch with me sometimes, or even outfits that you inspire he can call them out very quickly. I usually put your videos on in the background while I am painting or multitasking in the house because I love your voice and accent..but this one made me come walk over and really listen! I absolutely loved this video and how you opened up- you seem like a genuinely amazing person! I LOVED hearing your years in review and your answers to follower questions especially. I so admire you as a person now! I am 32 years old, and I wish 25 year old me could have heard you talk about being mature professionally but a late bloomer with other things. I chose to live alone before moving in with my now husband too, and feel that was such an important time in my life and development as a person.
