He has the decency to understand that she was still very much in love with her husband.
I think they both liked each other secretly but they both know that their situations are holding them back cuz its not the right thing. Sadie lost her husband which she really loved and she would've felt like she betrayed her husband and Arthur on the other hand acknowledges Sadie's situation and he himself likes Mary. There are a lots of "ifs" that is holding them back.

To me this my comment and my opinion is that Arthur and Sadie they both suffered a loss Sadie lost her husband and Arthur lost his son and wife so he knew what Sadie was goin through so that's the reason why Sadie and Arthur were meant for each other solitude Sadie actually saw her husband inside of Arthur so Jake's spirit was within Arthur the whole time and that's what attracted her
@@matthiaswinter9818 I don’t think Eliza was Arthur’s wife she was probably just a fling he ended up having a kid with he never calls her “his wife” he describes her as “just a kid” because they were only 19 years old plus Arthur was riding with Dutch and wouldn’t want to bring someone he saw as innocent into his outlaw lifestyle which makes it more tragic how he lost her and his son because they were robbed by bandits and he wasn’t there to stop it do to being on the run and robbing people himself

RDR 3, opening scene, Sadie is sitting by the fire, in her rebuilt ranch, North of Colter, she seems to be talking to herself as she says, you gonna join for summer are Arty ? Right or both Charles and Sadie meet with Jack Marston after Jack killed Edgar Ross (the evil man who killed John Marston).
Honestly, they would be a great couple. In place of tuberculosis, Sadie could make Arthur realize how flawed Dutch's leadership is, while Arthur would help Sadie put revenge aside.
In the end, Arthur would still be killed and Sadie would try to avenge his death alone, but John and Charles would still follow her.

God no. Sadie is annoying asf and her tough act is so forced. This should be johns story. I honestly wish Sadie wasn’t even in the epilogue. John spent most of his life with Arthur so he should revenge his brothers death. Not some random Mary Sue that has just caused problems and has been in the gang for a few weeks.

Look, I kind of agree with the part that she's rude and a little selfish, especially with the part where this revenge cost the life of an innocent man in that air balloon and that's Sadie's curse, she can't let go of her anger. side, except when it's to help her friends, like when she helped get John out of prison.
But accusing her of being a Mary Sue is already an exaggeration. She spends 2 entire chapters with depression and only in chapter 3, she becomes an outlaw and even then, she still asks for help from Arthur or John, because she knows she can't do everything alone.
And lastly, I never said I wouldn't play John in the epilogue, that would be anti-climactic. Only that Sadie could try to kill Micah alone, but John would still go along, telling her that Arthur was not just his brother, but his best friend.

@@jameson4844 hating on a character that doesn’t exist is nasty work, but keep staying mad she’s in the storyline, if it wasn’t for her Abigail would’ve been captured or dead, and Jack would’ve been a orphan Sadie is one of the best characters because she’s always ready for action and she’ll ride with you until the sun comes down there’s no doubt about that, but say what you want about her, her being tough after losing her husband is what makes her a badass character, and probably one of the greatest you guy’s don’t give the girl enough credit, if it wasn’t for her Micah would’ve never been killed🗣️💯

In my opinion Arthur may be an outlaw, but seeing him make any moves on Sadie, epecially during her fresh widowhood, is inconceivable due to two primary reasons on his part: his lingering feelings for Mary Linton and his own losses of his previous son and baby mama; even as I rule out Tuberculosis. If Arthur had not contracted TB and survived the main story, then I could see it become a possibility.
I always thought if Arthur wasn't to die, they would have become a couple. Too bad. Her respect for him, might have diminished her drive for revenge, which made her a little too volatile to be a gang member. I see similarities between her & Micah
Her character writing is honestly so sloppy. Micah was meant to be portrayed as nothing but a crazy murderer which he was. But I honestly don’t see much a difference between him and Sadie. Both get Arthur into dangerous positions. But Micah gets hate for it and Sadie doesn’t. I also hate her role in the epilogue. It feels like she’s the main character in it and John is just a third wheel. She’s also annoying asf and her tough act is way to forced. She just makes every mission she’s in cheese ball.

.... OUTLAW?!?!.... Sadie did not and was not a criminal IMO. She extracted her revenge ON criminals. But I don't recall her becoming one at all. I think your ideas are intriguing but, since the game in itself is.... the term masterpiece gets used a bit loosely but, there it is... the temptation to go on and on with pages of - what if's - is moot I think. I played an honorable Arthur the first time, and personally I felt that the storyline of his relationship with Mary was a dud.... I can't be the only person that was disappointed in the idea that there should have been more sex in the story overall. A one night stand with Sadie or Tilly and Mary-beth maybe. I think the developers just ran out of time, and didn't want to make a strictly - adults only - game. It is what it is.
Sadie did some pretty bad stuff, most of her revenge was on outlaws yes, but in the eyes of the law that is still technically breaking the law, so yes she is still a criminal, and she's affiliated with the gang so she is automatically guilty by association
