Great pick ups! Especially those ilamas theyre said to be great. If you can grow them in your climate i’d also suggest you get the following from Steve, which are said to be top tier: Lucs and Russell sweet Garcinias, chempedak-jackfruit hybrid, and regular chempedak
I do have a lemon chepadek-jackfruit hybrid and a cheena hybrid. In terms of garcinias I do have 2 big achachas, 2 linderos and 2 macrophyllas and 2 madrunos, a mundu and a yellow mangosteen. Also recently grafted some what was known as rheedia acuminata that have taken. I will get a lucs at some stage, they don't tend to put out much fruit from what I've seen though and the russels sweet is said to taste like a peach!, I already have peach trees.😆
Sorry to hear about big girl. You made quite a ruckus on BLF with your crop post mate. Thanks for that. The yard looks up to the standard I have started to expect - and that is REALLY saying something. LOL.
Thanks Andy, it is really starting to become established, you will notice the difference next time you come over. Hope I can inspire people to stick with it!
Thanks Paul, pretty much every tree I have planted, I was assisted in digging by my big girl, so is sad to lose my garden buddy. Yeah Steve has so many plants, I need to hide the list so I don't get myself into too much trouble. Bring it out every now and again for a cheeky look!
Nice new additions. I'm not sure that we have Giant Red Diamond here or I may have missed that one somehow 3:24 So sorry to hear about your pup. Rest in peace
We will have to have a register of jabos amongst us fruit tree maniacs here in Brisbane. That way we can do some bulk grafting and swapping so we can get them all. That fejoa cordial was really good!
Wow you are a man of a paradise! Beautiful house and property with all those beautiful Jaboticabas and other fruit trees! Are you in the tropic or sub-tropic? Keep it up, this will make you a better human being!
Thanks mate, I do love working in the garden. In Brisbane we are in the dry subtropics. At my place our minimum temperatures are about 3-5 degrees Celsius , summer can be hot with months over 30 deg sometimes up to 40 deg.
Hey Geriann I just got home from work and didn't plug a mic into my phone, I am not really a serious video maker but will try to use my mic more often. Thanks for the feedback.

Wow, great video Doug, you have a really nice backyard with lots of rare fruit trees growing, very nice! Thanks for sharing my friend!
Cheers Johnny, it's hard to stop buying trees!
@@dougs_urbanfarm Lol... I know what you mean:)
Great species you got. And realy nice garden to hang out. 🌱🌱
Thanks Thomas, I don't have heaps of rare plants like you, just a few to keep it exciting.
Sorry to hear about your dog mate!
Your garden is looking awesome as usual.
Steve has so many plants. His name is recognised overseas too lol

Some cool additions .. beautiful foliage ..
Sorry to hear about your Dog ...
Thanks Dan, circle of life unfortunately. It is amazing how much happiness a hairy creature can bring though.

Nice new additions
What’s better in taste the red or escarlate
I’m sure your best buddy is happy at rest in her favourite yard 😢
Not much between them, I prefer the scarlet, Rachel prefers the red hybrid. Both good though.
Yeah she is in her favourite spot.
They all look pretty good, hope they perform well for you. I have a pink ilama that got root rot but I'll get some more from Steve.

Nice additions, I just got the anthropophaga too. Have you fruited Rollinia there yet? Saw it had some flowers?
Not yet Ben, only planted this one a year and a half ago. I was late to the rollinia/annona party!
Great selection but the audio was real difficult to hear

How do you control fruit fly?
I have some traps but still net every tree that gets fruit fly in them
Can you please provide with the information from where you got these trees?
These are from Steve Trennery in Cairns, can contact him via messenger on Facebook.
@@dougs_urbanfarm Thanks a lot sir😊
