Euro Chronicles Ep. 6- Dinner with a Dinghy! Saint Tropez, France

Episode 6 finds us waking to a beautiful morning off the coast of Cannes. The night was another interesting one with the boat rolling and rolling some more. The morning was filled with drone flights and relaxation as we prepared to move back toward Bandol with a stop once again in Saint Tropez.
We pulled up anchor and sailed out as the clouds greyed up. The temperature dropped and the family slept most the way. We pulled into Saint Tropez around 4pm and we dropped anchor deep in the bay close to where we thought we could get the dinghy to shore.
After an hour at anchor and my faith improved, we dressed up and proceeded to get everyone in the dinghy to head to town. The ride from the boat was uneventful, but funny none the less. We found an empty space against the sea wall and tied up. Our first family dinghy trip was a success. We strolled through town past the mega yachts and rich and famous. There was a biker gang in town which added to the scenery.
We enjoyed walking through the streets and being on land for the first time in a few days. We found an amazing pizza place and grabbed some groceries at the local market. Scored some gelato on the way back to the dinghy to head to our anchorage from a few nights before. We anchored in the dark and proceeded to get comfortable and go to bed.
Next time- we find a slice of tropical paradise in the mediterranean.
