My friend did her MBA from IIM Vizag and her fixed salary is 16LPA in Mumbai and she is able to give 10k to her mom and 20k for her own savings after loan emi and rent and other expenses.

I was thinking of doing MBA from IIMs....but I got Govt Job... Scale 3 Manager in Regional Rural Bank near to my home....Gross Salary is 1.5 lakh plus....CTC comes around 23 lakh....plus...other benefits like rent paid by bank, Housing Loan of 1 crore,car loan of 20 lakh @ Simple Interest.
Most important: Working hours from 9:45 am to 6pm.
I thus have dropped the idea of doing MBA from IIMs....my Govt job in RRB is much better.

Fixed salary is what matters. These days, companies go to IIMs and offer 40 LPA. Usme 20 LPA esops and variable. I completed my MBA from one of the old IIMs 8 yrs back.

If you struggle after placement then you'll be loan-free in approximately 2 years. Uske baat toh stress bohot kam ho jayega. Corporate world mein dimaag lagaoge toh work experience ko use karke you can upgrade your jobs as well. You'll fly high if you're a IIM/IIT MBA student.

I did bachelors from IIT BHU, no loan, coz fees was close to zero, after scholarship, get placed this year and get in hand salary 1.3 lacs a month, MBA Avi kha se kru?? 🙂
Mat kar. Teri abhi ki naukri hi acchhi hai. MBA se bohot jyada increment shayad na ho salary me. Ha tujhe job ki style badalni ho to karle.

if you want to do an MBA in IIM, please don't take scholarship. Pay the fees completely. Now that you got a job and have a proper salary, let someone who deserves the scholarship more than you, avail it. Be a true Indian. Not a DESI !

Bhai I am a commerce person , do IIM placement hit big figures only for engineering oriented students or people from commerce can also get same placements (specifically IIM AND TOP B-SCHOOLS ) !!!
If you are from top college.... like sriram college of commerce....st Stephen's etc....they mostly have 99.5% ish scoring students in 12th boards ....so yeah.....only 5-6 students in batch of 100 bags big companies offer.... with big package

I lost bankPo by 6 marks.
I can show work exp from a small firm.
IS Cat preparation is a good choice? Or should i go with bankpo as im close!

@@user-kk8fq7tv7g chud gye guru. Second section mai panic kargaya. Bhai onground tips dera hu likhle:
1. Practice cat pyqs. 2IIM karke website hai har ek topic ke alag se questions milenge. Jitni practice krega utna chance badega tera. Atleast solve 50-60 questions per topic. Atleast.
2. Read a lot. Stop scrolling mindlessly (it decreases your attention span and rc mai pichla bhulta jata hai insan so increase attention span).
3. Paper chill hoke dena hai.
4. Practice DILR a lot. End mai it is the only topic that guarantees 20 marks. I regret not practicing it. I wasted 20 mins in it and could still not clear. End mai va pe impact bhi gaya tha.
5. Practice basics then gradually scale to advance questions. Basics are very important.
6. School ki maths nhi hai use your brain in all questions especially algebra.
7. Practice more think less.
8. Hardwork (practice) over smart work.
Agar mai dubara paper dera hota I would have done all this.

I m getting scared by UA-cam comments in some videos
What u suggest me sis,pls reply should I drop for mbbs or join bsc agriculture or BAMS like that
Or biotechnology.,,in fact to be honest the above courses which I had mentioned i may not get good college during consuling.but my parents are not agreeing to drop again..?or should I opt for abroad mbbs,my father is saying he will sell land and join me ,i don't want him to spend all money ,i don't know what to do,i still tried to get seat this yr due to tension,stress i lost marks ..
Which is best option now and future
My aim is to settle and get good job ..

@@vyna180 let me tell you , in india courses like bams , bhms have less salary and job opportunities ( as compared to mbbs but good salary and opportunities) and bsc agriculture has even less scope. but every medical field is good as you will get good money and get chance to help poor. My girl mbbs is long course but you get good money at each stage and you will enjoy the process (eg. Mbbs intern 30k/month, pg get 1.1 lakh/ month in delhi). MBBS is best you can opt for foreign colleges( CAREFULLY ! ) as NEXT exam is implemented there will be not much effect. You can do simple graduation and opt for govt jobs ( even small Govt job will make you settle in life) . Don't be in mental pressure you will achive something good in life.

@@vyna180 i was also at the same condition ur ...this year I passed HSC and given neet and mh-cet exam ...but in neet i m not qualified and in cet i was qualified but my plan was to take drop and give a chance to neet once and i did it but in some days I got realized that yes mbbs have lot of hipe in. India but at all how many will do mbbs and there is limit...but still was confused and I also thought for abroad but there's 6years mbbs and i thought I will go but then i realise that 6 years without my parents and in other country...that's impossible...even my family told me that if u want u may go abroad but I was not ready so now i decided that I will do b.pharm and then mba ...and starting salary would be 40-50k per month but slowly it would increase many of pharmacist have 12 lakh per annum package even some have 20-30-40lakh per Annum but that totally depends on ur work and experience...even if u did mbbs u have to do intership and in that 1 year u will get 10-15k per month so i thought that i m cet qualified and I will get admission and money too in this field so now i m just taking admission in it without thinking of mbbs and if u r doing for high salary then mbbs is a profession in which if u own a nice hospital then u can earn a big amount and if ur doing job then nothing extra in it even pharmacist would earn more bcoz hospital would provide 60-70 k per month to mbbs and if md the 1.5lakh per month and that much a pharmacist can earn so that's the reason i choose pharmacy and i m not suggesting u my opinion just think once what u want money or mbbs if money then go in any profession and if mbbs then go for it but think bcoz the final decision is yours ...

CTC is different and in hand(fixed component) is different. CTC has variable components like benefits of esops etc which has T&C. Therefore he said 20 lakhs in hand and them divided it by 12
