Good insights provided in this video. As per Six Sigma there are three types of sections : Client Value Added (CVA) Business Value Added (BVA) Non Value Added (NVA) Operations, marketing, sales etc fall under CVA who are directly involved in earning revenue. Support functions like HR, Admin, Quality, Audits etc fall under BVA. The NVA area for each company should be minimised and ultimately eliminated.
So happy to see that there is so much relevant content regarding human resources being posted in social media now. However the gender stereotyping needs to change . Empathy could be a natural instinct for women however current trend in HR involves high level of data analytics and collective thinking for creating unique employee experiences. Predictive analysis and forecasting employee behaviour to policy changes, creative communication, ability to think from a business perspective. HR really neede to diversify in the current trend. Team should have people with technical skills, presentation skills, statistical analytics, designers etc. The main problem is HRs want to work with people having HR qualification alone and not being open to having diverse teams .
