6:27 is definitely one of the hobby highlights, incredible shot!!!!!! Loved every minute of the video, thank you for posting this! Helps me cope with inability to go out and fly :)
I like to fly cheap foam high wing planes. Because they are very light and have lots lift they tend to float and that's great until it gets windy. Wind blows them around a lot and it's not fun fighting the wind so you don't lose it. That's why some people complain about "floaty" airplanes. I think they're fun because I'm not a great pilot in fact I'm only comfortable flying on 3 channels but I had my 1S Cessna flying backwards into the wind a few times. That's my kind of fun.
There's something about just hanging it out there and letting it rip! Reminds me of a buddy and me at my airfield just laughing our tails off...you see what I did there right? SUBSCRIBED!
I was laughing so hard on the white fun cub …. What a fun video mister Z . If I remember right, do you still have a gray camo A-4 skyhawk ?? Also , the f-18 snow camo was bomb on the backround table . You are doing a Great job , good vibes in all videos ! Cheers 🍻
It would be so wonderful to find a field or club like this! Even just an open field where some friends could just fly/wreck some model planes. Every r/c field within a 100 miles of me is so strict and regulated that a beginner pilot (not necessarily new to r/c hobbies in general) is in imitated to the point that they lose interest in flying. I do understand liability in dense areas & yes I understand that a run away model can be extremally dangerous so you can't just fly anywhere.
We are so lucky to have Marymoor and the culture they promote. Have fun above all. Don't take yourself or the hobby so seriously. Safety is still possible even with this approach.
I lost a wing on time and it dropped to knife edge.....stayed stable but then as I brought it in and tried to roll it for a nice flair to land....it became more plane than I could pilot and disintegrated as it lawn darted lol....I feel your pain
I...don't know how I've never seen your channel. I've been watching flite test since they came up with the "Josh scott" rotor riot...before it was rotor riot and I've been flying FPV drones for almost 5 years. Building planes, mainly ww2 warbirds...because I'm unique...don't know how I went through all of youtube and never found yall. Subscribed for sure
Great videos, your channel has made me pick RC back up after leaving it for the last few years. I've started flying full size and bought a plane, great fun but you forget how fun RC can be as well. Its just unfortunate that clubs here in the UK are generally strongly against fun...
Great to see you back at Marymoor. Are you still in town? I'd have definitely come and watched if I'd known those shenanigans were happening, its only a 10 minute drive from my place.
I seriously just crashed my UMX turbo timber today, and only dislodged the first 2" of the lower fuselage/motor mount, and tore up the canopy. If your serious about sending it the canopy, I'd happily use it ...
I wonder if half the audience you guys have know how well connected you are in he hobby....and that sineof them fly planes actually designed by Cody....iblook forward to his new bigger turbi raven...and if u like a bushmaster u can thank Cody too..not to mention theyre good buddies with supatim too...thank you guys for another shield day shenanigans video...u are one of the last rc aviation channel I watch religiously that hasn't turned into a "payed for" opinion and telling us every olane u get is "one of the best flying planes I have fkown" every single itinerary u do a review.....we need more of you guys..and thank you for staying true to your roots...you deserve soo much more of a following
Every midair I've seen, or had, we allowed up to five planes in the air, we were the only ones in the air at the time. All that air space, and what do we do, try to prove a physics lesson, two objects cannot occupy the same space in time. We got lots of little pieces dropping out of the air.
I love the yeah we don't really care just fly it attitude. Let's all relax and have some fun.
Misha doing a kamakazi into the UMX's already destroyed fuselage brought joy to my heart. What a pilot.
As a freestyle fpv pilot I approve of that maneuver. If theres one thing we are good at it's crashing into a tiny target ;D
then not being able to get it back cause the target is tiny hole... i hate when that happens
It's heartwarming to see people having so much fun in the hobby! Simply awesome.
the dyson plane is awesome
You're definitely one of the best in this community. Love your content!
Thank you!
I think the Dyson motor was incredibly creative and awesome.
Always nice seeing Mr. RCTestFlight :-) Loved the Dyson plane
Such an epic time! Had so much fun watching the shenanigans over the last week! Such fun times!
never miss tailheavy's videos!
Thanks for another fun & interesting video!! Loved the added music too! Great stuff!
"some more crashing later..." reminds me of flying sessions with my brother ;) I think you guys have the same approach to R/C flying as we do 👍
I'm so glad i got to meet you in person! I have a plane that works with the launcher, so hopefully I'll get to fly it too! :)
The fun cub guy lol. we need more of him!
Misha for president 🏆
That FPV drone kamikaze made my day 😂
6:27 is definitely one of the hobby highlights, incredible shot!!!!!! Loved every minute of the video, thank you for posting this! Helps me cope with inability to go out and fly :)
That was definitely an awesome shot that Misha got! Hope you can get out and fly soon.
I really want something like that ultralight balsa plane. looks like a joy to fly. Fun video!

I always knew Dyson's suck, nice seeing them used in a totally different way
What’s hilarious is that I actually need a new canopy for my UMX Timber 😂
I lost a wing on time and it dropped to knife edge.....stayed stable but then as I brought it in and tried to roll it for a nice flair to land....it became more plane than I could pilot and disintegrated as it lawn darted lol....I feel your pain

So glad to hear you're back into it! Don't let anyone tell you the right way to fly a toy airplane. Do what makes you tick.
it would be amazing
The funcub guy reminds me of the pilot in Fandango.
great video!
That catapult is so cool? Works really well sometimes!
Looks fun

I would love to have friends to fly with...

pov: your plane is about to crash and you land it. And then have to smack the engine.
You should speak to rapidnadion about an aircraft carrier
From who Is that Mig-15
is he really using an EC3 to Deans to XT60 adapter 😂
Taking ivermectin prevents brown-outs and deep stalls.
