What a wonderful Chanel you have, watching your videos always leaves me very peaceful and calm. I love watching you paint, they turn out so beautiful! 😊
Glad you enjoyed! It really was a special present. I can’t honestly remember it snowing like this on my Birthday before? The magnifier is so useful. Although I really should try to work less small, as do make it hard for myself 😊

Look at those sheeps! :) I love your channel and your paintings. You treat acrylics almost like watercolors on paper. Do you ever have any trouble with the paper warping? Merry Christmas!
Thanks! I have used acrylics since I was child and got into some bad habits. ;) Sometimes the paper plays silly games, but in general it's fine. I tend to use thick paper. I like their adaptability and love that I can use them however I need to. Happy new year to you. :)
This is lovely and inspiring to watch. Can I ask what paper you use? I also use Jackson's Art online, and have trouble figuring out what paper to use - especially paper that doesn't need to be stretched. Thank you.
Thank you. :) I think this was winsor and newton cold press watercolour paper. As it was acrylic, the paper doesn't matter as much I find. No need to stretch etc. With watercolours, paper type is more important. The best thing to do is just try a few and see how your paint acts on the paper. I think you can buy sample swatch sheets on Jacksons.
@@moonlightandhares oh I didn't realise you were using acrylics, also I will buy samples from Jacksons - thanks for letting me know and the advice :) btw I have three of your notebooks given to me as a gift and love them.
If you perchance read this, have you ever tried blocks of paper? “Sealed” all around except for a slot for you to use a letter opener or paint trowel-slide it around to remove the top sheet. Helps a heap.
