Casting Saoirse Ronan as Glenn was a bold choice, and I think it paid off.
😂😂😂 I love it!!
Perfect comment, needs to be pinned 😂
THIS CHANNEL IS SO GOOD 😮
Is he Irish?
The internet needs more of these. Not enough people appreciate comic books these days. There'd be no adaptations or cinematic universes without them.
While I agree.. it’d probably do more harm than good - people aren’t buying comics anymore - if they can just access it for free online it wouldn’t do them any favours.
I never seen a real good UA-cam comic book voice acting until now.
Ayyyy thank you so much 😁
This is literally amazing.. the sound effects, the voice actors, the whole ambiance, it's perfect. I really felt like I was there! Thank you so much for these!!
You are most certainly welcome 😁
@@psychocatstudios2500Please continue doing these we all love them!
Why is Glenn Irish ?
@@Squigglet23Take that back!
What do you mean? The voice acting is pretty shit. But I guess it’s better than nothing
Imagine if Lee met Rick….I can hear the goat talking. It would be the most Goated thing of all time!
Goat goat goat goat goat
Why are you hearing a goat talking?
The onky goat of TWD is Tabitha
I really appreciate how the gunshots in the firefight with the criminal at the very start are pretty quiet, but the first one Rick uses to put down a walker, i.e. him shooting bicycle girl, is very loud and almost overwhelming. Editing wise it was probably just because dialogue needed to be heard in that scene, but I think it also really goes to show how much the world has changed and that Rick still needs to adjust to it
Glenn being Irish and sounding like RTgames is really funny to me
😂😂😂
God, it feels like watching a different TV show. I *love* it. The voice acting feels pretty natural that it reminds me so much of the Telltale Games at times. (Especially that confrontation between Rick and Shane) And the sound effects and soundtrack choices, oooh, they're the cherries on top.👌🏻
I appreciate all the hard work and effort you've put into. Cannot wait for more.
I believe the voice actor of Shane is the same as Andy St. John in season 1 of the telltale series. He sounds exactly like him. A lot of their voices sound familiar. I also find it cool how those are in the exact same universe, and that the Glenn and Hershel we saw in telltale are the same ones in this series. It's just unfortunate that they never mentioned Lee or his group.
Damn! Morgan's voice actor is as fantastic as the actor on the TV show!
That gentle voice, but full of the utmost fear for his boy, and almost driven insane with guilt for his wife. Astonishing.
Man, all the voice acting in this is AMAZING. I seriously cannot think of a single critique about ANYTHING to do with this video. In my eyes (Ears?), it is literally perfect. I don't ever say literally unless I mean it.
This is a prime example of a Motion Comic.
Amazing work!
Well glens voice being irish lol
Using Carver's theme from the games for the final Shane/Rick confrontation was so cool. Recognised it immediately coz I love it. Cant wait to read the rest of the comics.
Or Hershels farm soundtrack finding the horse at the start ❤
Or even Shane's Theme from the TV show. Goddamn does it fit so well within the scene.
I never read the comics and I didn’t know Shane died this early on, I thought he would have died during the farm arc
Many things changed fron comic to tv, like andrea
The comics weren’t always well written.. like Invincible they need someone to tweak Kirkman’s questionable writing.
@@firstlast9846honestly the comics are better
Tbh its so difficult for me not to hear andrew lincolns voice even reading comic ricks lines and same with all of the characters. So i gotta give major props to the voice actkrs here for not trying to voice them similar to the show and really just making the comic characters have rheir own different sound. .
The characters look a bit different from the live-action actors, so it makes sense why you wouldn't want to make them sound similar
i love how you use the soundtrack from the show where Rick reunites with his family, it's very fitting, and emotional
Still hits ya right in the feels.
Just searching walking dead stuff and came across this ,i must say ive really enjoyed this ,sound affects and everything. Well done mate, i didn't get chance to read the comics so thanks for this 👍 👏
20:13
Rick: BASTARDS!! What the hell is wrong with you?!
Dude the walking bread did something similar to this but stopped after they started getting into the war with Negan, i really hope yall keep this going cause this is amazing!!!
Wait what!! Glenn called them zombies
Yeah unlike the tv show, zombies already existed in the medua of the comic universe
@@Arbiter_of91 while I don't know about the interview, I'm afraid that information is false my friend. For starters Glenn and Herahel especially look like how they first appear in the comics and not the tv show. Secondly in the games and comics Michonne had 2 children while in the show she only had the 1 pre outbreak
@@KhepriProductions2022 I didn’t mean it as in exactly the same I meant that zombies just never existed before in the comics, like in the game and the show. The show is drastically different from the comics in more ways than one, but that’s one similarity.
@@Arbiter_of91 oh that's what you meant? Sorry for the confusion. But In that case I have another example for that. When they're in the prison, the other inmates call them zombies like they heard the name before and how you get used to saying that name after awhile.
In season 1 of the TV show, all of the characters act as if they've never even heard the concept of zombies before the apocalypse, like it's an entirely new thing for them.
Yeah they actually use the term zombie in the comics
Damn. Listen. You've done a great thing for people who enjoy this series. I'm going to be listening to this later and hope you continue to do it. Thanks.
I prefer the films version of Shane. The films version of Shane is a lot more realistic and he didn't start out trying to kill Rick for Lori he developed into the monster we all know him to be today. I still prefer this version of Lori. Imagine if Shane's character in the show was switched with Shane's character in the comic.
Kirkman''s original intention was to actually kill off Rick in Issue 6, the comic would then follow Carl in the aftermath of this, with him being the only one who knew what happened to his dad, and what Shane did. Either way, I would say that the TV Series Shane and the one from the comics are both cautionary tales, from differing perspectives.
Shane in the show is shunned as a villain because of his ruthlessness and tenacity for survival, so he lost his humanity. This would later manifest in Rick in the later seasons, so the show has this running theme of balancing survival with humanity, as the characters struggle to find balance.
As for the comics on the other hand, Shane seems to be a cautionary tale about holding out for a miracle, putting blind faith into your government to save you, instead of ruling and saving yourself.
It's a running theme with the comic, even until the end. Because Rick's final speech addressed to the Commonwealth is essentially saying the same thing to them.
@@kikrinman1450it wasn't ruthless that made Shane a antagonist rick and the others got ruthless he adapted too soon but the nail in the coffin was his decaying sanity and manipulative tendencies to everyone other than Lori and Carl, mostly Carl and willingness to treat them like meat shields and or resources, when he told rick that the outsider who was a kid needed to die he was right it just was too early for rick, rick evolved jaw droppingly ruthless but he never threw them away or used them like Shane absolutely would've done half if not everyone would've died no matter how much he felt like he was when faced with a group who never saw outside Shane and rick are too different kinds of people. Someone who adapted to experience over time and someone who would've fit anywhere for a while.
I just found your UA-cam channel and wanted to say thank you for making this a thing. I've read through the comic 2 times and have watched all the seasons of the walking dead.
I've literally been saying to my wife and a bunch of people that some one should make something out of the comic book series because it is so so so much better the the tv series. They changed way to many things in the tv series and got way out of cannon from the actual story.
I really hope that this is a continuous thing through the whole comic book series because Ive only watch half of vol. 1 which is absolutely amazing. I'm not gonna be able to stop watching this now because you have made everything on point. I feel like I'm in the walking dead universe with how you have the sound effects and how you have dubbed the monologue of the comic as well. just absolutely brilliant and you show 100% when some kind of an award for this IMO.
keep up the great work my friend and really hope this all continues. You have a really good talent for this sort of thing and nobody else is doing this right now either. 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
I absolutely agree!
I agee as well , 100%
Please keep them coming
Thank You 🙏🏼
How many people in the film?
Innit, like the only things the show did better than the comic was adding Merle and Daryl, and making Glenn and Eugene have larger roles. Everything else, the comic is way better.
100% way better then the tv series, it’s been 10+years since I read the graphic novels.
A++ for all the voice actors 😎👍
This should be released as an audio drama everywhere!! So fucking good!!
I don't know what you have planned in the future but I'm addicted and hooked almost broke my screen mashing the subscribers button, it's been so long since UA-cam has allowed videos like yours to get views I had to rub my eyes to make sure they were real. After the TV series took off they swept The Tube clean of all content and trying to get print of the stories was a pain I wasn't collecting these I mean Graphic Novels and I wasn't gonna start but KIRKMAN as a writer is a Juggernaut. The way you set this up good lord know one has done it not Comics Explained or Comic Storian, you are in a LEAGUE OF YOUR OWN sir continue the great content as the views shall come. Please continue can you cover Lock And Key and I would love to see tackle Invincible even Wanted, my work breaks will seem like heaven again I will probably lose some weight cause who's gonna have time to eat....
These voice overs are really funny in a good way
When you realize Kirmin put himself in debt to make this and was barely getting by you appreciate it more
This is amazing dub, feels like an actual episode. I can't wait to finish all 196 issues with this dub!
193
196 cause of the 3 special comics [Alien] [Negan lives] [Morgan Christmas special]@@Dakguire
@@GrimSCKTthere's also the Michonne Special and the Tyreese special 😁
@@psychocatstudios2500they’ve also had some special issues for the governor. I got one from free comic book day
This has made comic books even a better experience. Thank you guys!
Oh man. Whoever voices Rick is really good! Wonderful!
Man does this bring me back, thank you for the hard work it must have taken!
this is amazing please please don’t stop doing these and cover all of them!! you guys are great!!❤️
Ayyyy thank you so much!!! Don't worry, I am determined to finish the entire series!!
Oh! Morgan looks so much like Lee (OH GOD DAMN, LEE! WHY, LEE?! WHYYY?!??!) from TWD TellTale game. Was that on purpose? As a little nod?
I believe so
Thank you for your hard work, this was a labor of love, you can tell❤
i love how you guys portrayed each character it is exactly how i would picture them
Thank you!!! The cast have done such an incredible job!!!
Stop lying and go make a sandwich
Easily the best motion comic version! The others walked so you could run
whoa, I can't believe the soundtrack for this. The ultimate walking dead experience sure got me subbing and hitting that bell!
Just got done watching The TV show walking Dead last month and yesterday finished fear now I need my fix 😂 and this is perfect thank you for who ever made this for video form 😎
You've put a lot of work into making these. Beautifully rendered. Thank you for doing this.
Thank you!!! I'm glad you like it!
Don’t ever stop what your doing what your doing I love watching your videos your giving justice to a story that was done dirty in the tv version I felt more emotion in that one scene with Rick and the walker than I did the entirety of season 11 of the show you are all so underrated’underapriciated and overlooked for the amount of work and effort you put into these videos and don’t listen to the dumb hate comments there just brain dead people who can appreciate fine art when they see it (face it the finest art they’ve ever seen is an anime body pillow they sleep with) much love from the guy who knows what the dogs doing
Ps I would love to be a part of this in some way I don’t know how but even if my voice is bad you guys would make it work
Oh my god this is awesome! I’ve always loved this series since I was a kid, and you did such a terrific job bringing it to life! Bravo! Now I have to reread the whole series
I remember there was a channel that used to dub the comics too, but then they suddenly stopped a few years ago for some reason. This version of yours has me feeling nostalgic, and I hope you manage to dub the entire series. Good luck!
Thank you my friend!!! I am determined to finish the series!! You probably watched The Walking Bread first, I've voiced for them in their TWD Series! They were fantastic!!
@@psychocatstudios2500I remember now! You're right, that was them, and they were fantastic! Your version is pretty good too though. I like your use of music throughout the video. One of the only times I remember them using creative music was at the end of issue 48 when they used a cover of "I See Fire" (an excellent choice in my opinion).
Amazing job you made the comic feel just as alive as the show I salute you🫡
The sound design is incredible
Thank you very much 😁
So cool to see someone else take a crack at this. I used to watch The Walking Breads channel and they stopped doing these by the time they got to all out war. This seems much better im hype to watch this to the end.
one more thing to add. glenn says " we'll be long gone before we get down here" but at the speed that he's talking the zombies will have killed them by the end of the sentence.
I love the voice acting n sound effects 💯 10/10
Thank you so much man!!!
Honestly thank you for this. This was amazingly done! Respect!
Just like that...The Days go by...
Damn this hit harder than the tv series. Ima little emotional 🥹 who’s ever cutting onions you can stop now ok. Also I feel like watching the Walking Dead again.
Wow best motion comic version yet!!!
Ayyyy thank you!!!
@@psychocatstudios2500 I love the black and white
I’m loving this so far the actors the music the walkers. Just noticed also you’re using telltale walking dead themes and amc walking dead themes that’s awesome. Keep up the good work.
Shane is so delusional here. In the show he’s unhinged but seems to have some good ideas, here he’s just completely batshit nuts and is practically blind to what’s really going on
I loved collecting and reading the comics back in the day.
Thank you so much for making these for us to enjoy. I enjoy this much more than the official series. 😁
Psycho Cat Studios is awesome !
I'm very glad you like them Diarmuhnd!! I really appreciate that man!!!!
Rick cried that sad
33:30 "You hear that?" -Kirkman
I love the comic version of Rick so much.
This is great. I’ve never read the comics only seen the show but what’s best is Glenn’s accent one this never heard a Korean with what’s sounds like an Irish accent
This is pretty cool! Reminds me how I've wanted a cartoon show for The Walking Dead for the longest time.
Thank you 😁 I would love to see a proper animated series of the comics using the same art style!!! That'd be unreal!
Rick’s Despair always a vibe.
I absolutly love dude this should have so many more veiws
Thank you man 😁
Hey if you guys need any extra voice actors, I'd love to be apart of this! I'm a huge Walking Dead fan. Any character slots available? :D
Nice one!!! Thank you for being interested! Be sure to keep an eye out for my Casting Calls on Casting Call Club! I have one up atm, Abraham, Aaron and AJ are available!!!
@@psychocatstudios2500 Oh awesome! Thanks. :D
not Shane yelling at Rick about the coldness saying they dont need that much wood 😭
You acting and editing is amazing! Thank you very much for this
i remember reading like 4-5 of these when i was young my school had library like built at the entrance. so this is amazing getting to remind what happens after and in order aswell. amazing voice acting
Dude you need to do MORE of these!!! They will blow UP! I wish it were 5-6hrs then I could fall asleep listening too.
The music from the show makes this so good! I watched the show before reading the comic, so whenever I read it afterwards, I read everything with the music from the show in my head, and this is just how I imagined it. It's perfect. Well done
Especially hearing Shane's Theme near the end.
This is just so amazing, I cant imagine the time and effort this took.
Dude please keep working on this! This os a hidden gem currently so glad I found this! Going to send this to some of the redditors who are asking what to consumer to jump into the universe
The Walking Dead Comics are my favourite things ever and thank you so much for editing these videos i will watch them all now!!!
Thank you very much!!! I love TWD Comics too!!! I hope ya enjoy the dubs of it!!
Thanks for making audio versions of thes i alway wanted to see how good the comics were.
Carl's little hat is cute
If you're going to do the entire series all 193 issues You're in for a total blast
Ikr XD I really can't wait to get to arcs like All Out War, The Whisperer War and stuff XD It's gonna be unreal!!
Superb voicing I can't wait to hear more of this
John berthal was the perfect choice for Shane he kinda looks like the comic Shane
I preferred this art style to the later ones
I like how you give proper credits at the ending. I will watch all of these if you do them all. i love to go back and reread the comics one day but don't have time
Carl's voice over is hilarious
A great service to humanity sir. Subscribed.
I love the TWD comics! Thank you for uploading them! Keep it up!

Only time someone is ever glad to go to their in-laws.
A little criticism but do keep in mind that I very much still enjoyed it. The only perfect, 10/10 voice acting I can see is Kaylin Harbert with Rick. Other than that, I cannot give any other voices any more than a 7/10. Here are some of the voices that I personally found that could have been done better one way or another:
-Lori: Imo, I think the voice does not match her character, I imagined her sounding a bit more mature, and then there is the problem with her mic, which can be excused
-Glenn: The only thing I can say is that his voice is pretty monotone most of the time, especially when compared to Rick
-Shane: The main, big problem I have with Anthony McDowell is that he did not do the best during scenes where Shane is supposed to be angry/screaming/loud. He's not trying to put his voice out more as if he's actually screaming, instead he's keeping his voice in his throat and raising his volume instead, which is incredibly prominent during the arguments between Rick and Shane, where you can clearly hear Rick's voice actor being able to sound angry without the volume being way too loud, compared to Anthony
Other than that, I think all the other voice actors/actresses did a well enough job, and I genuinely enjoyed this and will be watching more!
This is so frickin cool, man.. thanks for sharing!! Was an awesome comic when first released and I remember after reading that first issue and becoming a fan, I was SO hyped when Darabont brought it to TV.
This is great!👋🏻✌🏻
Wow this is amazing i hope and wish you can/did the whole series especially the voice acting
Just started this, thank you. Great content ❤
Its crazy to see how much the Tv series Botched or Edited in as new stuff, this comic was perfect
The Rick Tank scene in atlanta didnt happen in the comic
Morgan and rick and duane showering at the police station
ETC
Brilliant work. Reminds me strongly of the Tales From The Crypt narrations back in the day.
The use of the 28 Days later style music was very well placed 💚💜
I dunno. The voice acting in here so fantastic that it reminded me of the Telltale games.
Amazing!!! Great work!
49:37 you do want to pick up the ammo that doesnt fit your guns. Its barter material. And the right gun may come along later anyway.
i love these videos. if im playing games i could just hear these videos like a story krrp up the good work
Amazing!!! this is a masterpiece 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great job! Looking forward to the rest!
Thank you for making this is very entertaining and gets me more interested in the walking dead thanks
Fantastic job 🤩 everything was perfect. I would've been left that camp. It was too dangerous over there.
I loved this art style so much more then the rest of the series
