Comic Book Lori felt more loving towards Rick. How she runs towards Rick when he reappears unlike the tv show where it felt like Lori was more running after Carl
In the show they messed up a lot of characters in expense of others, sometimes they just made them worse no reason at all. Like what they did with Lori, Andrea, Dale, Tyreese and even Abraham. They brought some of the things from the comics but in different characters like Dale/Hershel, Andrea/Carol, and Holly/Sasha.

nah only reason you hate dale is that you love Shane .dale was a sign of hope and humanity but Shane was an asshole trying to sleep with his best friends wife dales death made me so sad actually
The only reason why the show is so different from the comics cause they wanted the comic readers from predicting the show to keep interesting diverse but still have similarities.
+seth thorpe Yep, I believe I read Kirkman say that in the fan mail section of the comic some short time after the show came out. Maybe even before. That's why it makes me laugh when someone who loves the comics rips the show for not following them enough. It's ok if you don't like the show as a comic reader, but the reason really can't be that one.
+The Lukanator but the comic isnt better. the comic has such shitty story progression and character development. ive been reading it and after like 30 issues you can already tell who will die every issue or two. its soooooooooooo dull and predictable.
Jose Cortes I will say that the first couple issues of the comic are choppy (which is why the first few episodes of the show are so good, in that they adapt it and improve it) but after like volume three or so there's a dramatic improvement. While I've liked some decisions made by the show, such as fleshing out Shane, fleshing out the Governor and fleshing out Hershel (that seems to be a theme), most decisions were not so great. Granted this is all my opinion. I just feel like the show's writing is so much worse than the comic and at least in the comic there are so many great character arcs that never made it into the show. Plus, there are almost no annoying characters, unless they're supposed to be, Rick is a much much much stronger character, there is far more diversity in content and, frankly I just disagree with you on the predictability of it. Maybe seeing the show first has made it more so, but I've found that TWD show has some of the most insanely predictable, cliched writing in popular TV. Anyway that's my opinion, sorry for the rant XD
I highly recommend YourMovieSucks' videos discussing seasons 1 and 2. It explains how much the show's creators were fucked by AMC in order to capitalize and elongate the show regardless of its' quality. Personally, I would've much rather had the experience that I had with the first season extended only over a few seasons compared to what the show became.
Dale was the voice of reason, he dies and everyone goes fucking crazy. Then Hershel grows a pair of balls and steps up, he dies, and at that point “No going back bob.” (I know it’s a bad joke)
The walkers were actually pretty fast in season 1 if you see them. Going after Glenn and Rick. And it would be possible riots and people start freaking out if they heard the dead was coming back.
You left out one of the biggest changes between the show and the books: Rick and Lori's relationship, and Lori's character in general. In the book, Rick and Lori are *madly* in love with each other, incredibly supportive of each other, and while they do fight sometimes (of course), you never get the sense that Lori feels any true bitterness towards Rick, because you believe she's on his side. When Rick turns out to be alive, she's just as overjoyed as Carl to see him, if not moreso. And of course, she never has any feelings for Shane. They only have sex the one time, in a fit of panic and emotional vulnerability, because they think they're going to die any second. Additionally, Lori can actually look after herself and Carl, despite having some trouble adjusting at first. Whereas in the show, Rick and Lori are said to be in a totally failing marriage before the apocalypse. As soon as she thinks Rick is dead, she totally hooks up with Shane not as a one-time thing, but as an actual lover, which goes on for the whole several weeks Rick isn't there. When Rick turns out to be alive, she looks more horrified than happy, and as the series goes on they just seem to despise each other more and more. And to top it all off she just...does...*nothing* to help. Throughout her entire time on the show she is a complete liability. Basically, the showrunners totally ruined Lori in every way imaginable to the point where she was famously one of the most hated characters on the show. Great job, guys
If she wasn't such a manipulative bitch in the show in pretty certain the show version of What e would have survived as he was acting similar to how Rick did in the comics.
He wasn’t even meant for the show, Norman reedus auditioned for the part of Merle but the producers wanted to cast Micheal rooker as Merle, but like Norman reedus so much they made the part of Daryl for him, as Merles brother
@@jackproductionsrblx you do know that the comics came first right you dont actualy think that the shows (amazing) character they made up should of magicly been in the comics that came out over half a decade earlier
yeah the actor of daryl met on of the staff at a comic con or something and they became friends so the dude asked the daryl actor if he wanted to be in the show cuz he was an actor so the spots were filled so they created daryl
Actually Andrea is super depressed in the comic, and with draws from the group before eventually recovering when she gets with Dale. And Jim's story is revealed, he is not much more mysterious, in fact, his weird dreams and crazy digging make him more mysterious in the show.
Robert Kirkman has expressed before that the reason the comic book and show's storylines are so different is so that fans who either read the comics first or watched the show first would not get spoiled for major plot elements if they decided to check out the other version of the series. After all it would kind of suck if comic book fans knew everything that was going to happen before a new season of the show even came out.
+Jared Gingerich well until now. Until this most recent season GoT followed the books closer than any adaptation, film or tv series, that I've ever seen. They are now forced to part ways with the source material for multiple reasons, and it will be better for it, so long as they utilize the core of the books. The Walking Dead similarly follows the core story, but the comics get much stronger as the issues pile up, where as many would argue A Song of Ice and Fire's last two books are its weakest. TWD has moved closer to the overall main story arcs of the comics since Scott Gimple took over. It's quite genius to be honest, but to be fair to past show runners, Gimple has a larger to much much larger budget, the show would never have a chance to follow the comics later story arcs without heaps of money. Both GOT and TWD are in good hands, I wish I shared that confidence for ASOIAF....
+Cal DW Yep I was just telling this to someone on another site, and it was odd because they were dogging the show for not following the comics and I'm like "dude, he wrote in the fan mail section of the comics that he wanted them to be different FOR the comic reader"... Plus this isn't like most situations where an author sells rights and cashes a check, maybe gets to see screeners before the public.. Kirkman masterfully kept at least a modicum of control over his baby, a power that has only grown with the popularity of the show and can be evidences in AMC handing him a blank check to write his first ever original TV show Fear TWD. Point being, this isn't exactly a situation where you can protest the adaptation's changes from its source material without simultaneously ripping the dude who wrote that source material.
They're together for quite a long time in the comics, until Dale's death, which was the death that Bob had in the show. Nowadays, Andrea's with Rick, which Michonne takes now in the show.
+Darrell Gulseth I agree with you there didn't like her much. I recommended you read the comic and consider it an alternate universe to the show. Andrea is way better.
Please continue this series! It's not only a refresher course for me, but it's a helpful tool that I can share with others to show the differences in the comics and the show.
I often hear people use the excuse that "Lori thought Rick was dead because Shane told her so", but judging by the appearance of the flowers that Shane left for Rick in the hospital, and the age of Carl, Lori, and Shane's physical appearance after Rick woke up, I'd say that he was only in a coma for 2-3 weeks, a month at most, which means Lori, thinking he was dead, didn't even wait a month before having sex with another man. Regardless of her stress level, or the situation at hand, or anything else, any woman with any semblance of character would have had a halfway decent mourning period, not because it was the right thing to do, but because she truly loved her husband who she now thought was dead and would naturally grieve for him. Based on Lori's actions, not just with Rick but also with Shane and even Carl, I'd say she didn't give a damn about anyone but herself.
toasega Well maybe under normal circumstances of thinking her husband was dead...but at the time the entire world pretty much went to shit. Even if Rick was alive for all she knew she'd never see him again. The chances of running into someone you know in a Zombie apocalypse where everyone is constantly moving across the country to stay alive and no longer has any mobile phone contact to communicate with anyone are very, very small, in a case like that she like many others would become desperate for affection and security just as much as everyone else is also desperate for food, shelter and generally not getting eaten by walking corpses. Shane is in the same boat, (unless he knew Rick was alive and lied as he did in the show) he too would have been desperate for some sense of security in this now fallen human society.
Cal DW That's where "Character" comes in. There are various things that are a part of character, such as integrity, honesty, courage, wisdom, etc, but what I'm talking about in response to your comment is personal strength (and integrity). The state of the world is unimportant; your husband "died" only a month ago. The saying goes "A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts", but this also applies to stressful situations. If you want to know who a person truly is on a fundamental level, then put them into an extremely stressful situation, and they will always show their true colors eventually. Had Lori been a woman of strong character, she would not have run into another man's arms so quickly. Her actions show that had the zombie apocalypse never taken place, she would have eventually cheated on Rick, maybe with Shane, maybe with someone else, but it surely would have happened. We were already shown that her and rick were having problems to begin with in the first episode. It's just that the Zom-pocalypse made her show her true colors much faster. Same thing goes for Shane, as he was willing to kill his best friend rather quickly after he found out he was alive. It seems like a longer amount of time, but again, from Rick's "resurrection" till the end of season two was only about 2 months. There's "Moving on with your life", and then there's being an absolutely deplorable and disloyal human being. Lori didn't just gently leave behind the memory of her husband over time, she immediately crushed it beneath her heel as she ran towards his best friend, who himself did not even seem to attempt to honor the memory of his now "dead" best friend.
toasega Don't get me wrong I am not defending Lori and Shane by any means, all I'm saying is that I understand why they would indulge in comfort from each other. The circumstances absolutely have to do with how they effect a character because given a desperate situation even the kindest, most honest and most self controlled of people can snap or the true darkness within them creeps out. It's not the zombies that are the biggest threat and source of drama in the walking dead, it's the living who are trying to survive. When the world goes to shit people may end up acting in ways they wouldn't under normal circumstances and some may even no longer care about any social norms and restraints in such a world. However at the same time, sometimes these actions are not done entirely because the individual is secretly a bad person deep down, panic, fear or believing they or someone they care about may die can make people lose the person they once were and act on instinct. I'm not sure if you're familiar with a show called Death Parade, it's an anime which revolves around this very premise. The basic gist of the show is that when two people die at the same time their souls go to a sortof limbo with no memories of their last few moments leading to their death. Once there they are told they have to take part in a game which can range from darts, air hockey, pool or playing cards. After the game is over one of them is sent to heaven/reincarnated and the other is sent to hell/the void. It doesn't matter who wins the game, what determines whether they go to heaven or hell is their actions and conduct during the game. Naturally some people become aggressive, cheat or panic believing that if they lose they will die or that if they win the other person will die which can cause tension if the people playing the game actually know each other such as a husband and wife or best friends, at the same time because they believe they will die if they lose some may show no remorse in playing if they don't actually know the other person. The idea for those judging them during the game is that they try to create a situation in which the true darkness inside a person is shown and as such that is what you judge if they're good or not on, however as the show progresses and you see different scenarios with individual people having differing backstories and causes of death in the first place you soon realise this system is flawed as after all, even good honest people can snap if pushed enough or deceived causing them to go to hell where as someone like a murderer who simply remains calm throughout the entire scenario or has no empathy gets to ascend. If this sortof stuff interests you I highly recommend looking up the pilot episode or watching the first episode of the series. Anyway if using a similar example to what's described in this show, good people can do bad things but it doesn't make them bad people, it just makes them human. Humans are complex and each person responds to stress, trauma, fear, love and so on differently. We may berate Shane but we don't know entirely what he went through, he is totally on his own in this world. Lori, Carl and Rick still had each other eventually but Shane's family, parents, siblings and so on are either presumably dead or have 0 chance of meeting him ever again. I still don't think what he did to Rick was right by any means but he must have gone through his own problems with the apocalypse just as much as everyone else and depending on if it's the comic or show version of him also determines how you may feel about his actions based on the scenario. Other characters are not all good or all bad either, just human and reacting to different things. Carl in the comic shot Shane and has killed many others since then but that doesn't exactly make Carl evil or without good intentions. Does this mean Carl would have eventually killed someone had the apocalypse never happened? Would he have been so quick to violence? No of course not, but the situation can certainly change a persons perspective on the world. The Walking Dead game also has huge elements of this too where the player is forced to often make very difficult decisions that all have huge knock on effects on not only themselves but all other characters in the story, there is no right choice or wrong choice, just what they personally feel is best. Our own morale judgement of others sortof becomes moot when everyone not only has their own morale standards but also has just as complex a situation to deal with in their lives as others do so naturally would respond differently. The protagonist of the game in particular is established as a school teacher with a fairly decent life and education who killed a senator who was having an affair with his wife out of sheer rage and was on his way to prison until the police car taking him there swerved off road to avoid a Walker and killing the officer driving him. That moment of madness with Lee murdering the senator however does not mean Lee is a weak willed man. Throughout the game (depending on player choice of course) Lee is a determined man who's willing to toss aside his own safety for those he cares about, especially the young girl Clementine who he found all on her own after the apocalypse happened. He makes it his responsibility to make sure she's safe even if it means risking his own life and he realises his actions are what's going to teach her how to act in this new world, his actions determine if she will grow up remorseful, or cold, or protective, or unforgiving and so on. Integrity of character comes from more than simply one event in their life, Lee may be a murderer prior to the apocalypse but his actions as a whole determine who he really is and are what set him apart from characters like say The Governor who is also a murderer but his actions and personality as a whole make him a far different character to Lee with the two of them having different strengths and weaknesses for different aspects of life and how they handle situations.
Cal DW I get what you're saying, but talking about Carl being a killer eventually is mistaken in my opinion. Carl is just a kid, and is at an age where his life experiences will still largely shape who he becomes when he matures into an adult. Lori and Shane don't have this luxury. Children and Adults are held to different standards, is what I'm saying. But I'm never going to be a fan of either of those characters, no. I understand how something can draw out a person's darkness and make them snap. I've always said that there actually isn't much at all separating normal people from becoming total murderous psychopaths, and that it is mistaken to behave as if we're so much different, and so much better than they are. But I can't agree with or accept Lori and Shane's actions. I'd have to say it's because of my own strong opinions on things like loyalty to friends and loved ones; I can accept a thief or a murderer before I'll accept a traitor to those closest to him/her. Also, I've watched all of the Walking Dead game. In my opinion, it is far superior to the Walking Dead TV show. I can't say I've heard of Death Parade, but I've never been a huge fan of dark anime (and that sounds like a dark-as-balls anime). If we're talking zombies, I've seen most of High School of the Dead, but I stopped watching it because they ruined it with all the fanservice. It would have been an amazing show if not for all the panty shots and bouncing breasts everywhere.
I like the fast pace of the comics, it doesn't make you wait around, it throws you straight into the action. Unfortunately, that did give the characters less development. The show does have some pretty decent action, too, and the fact it is more drawn out makes it more worthwhile.
Eventually though I wished the show would just get moving. It’s one of the major reasons I stopped watching. I called it quits sometime early season 5 and even then by the middle/end of season 4 I was getting fatigued. So many episodes felt like fluff and padding with unnecessary drama for drama sake.
I thought that dale wasn’t horrible I cried when he died because he was nice and treated Andrea like she was important she might’ve been but I still don’t like Andrea that much
That's not entirely true, she was dating Tyreese and he cheated on her with Michonne, after that she almost died when she slit her wrist. Then she offered to live with Lori, Rick and the kids like a big family and even kissed Lori, but both refused that idea and after a period being unhappy she hugged a walker cuz "it liked her".
I think they made CDC up because they weren't expecting a second season. They wanted to give us an ending and to be honest, i think they did--telling us that there's no cure, that everyone's infected and will turn whether or not they get bit. I loved season 1 so much, it's so underrated haha
what was so bad with dale and andrea? they were great and interesting characters. It was nice seeing a few people not being able to take the zombie apocalypse great and living through depression/suicidal thoughts, was really sad to see them go.
Dale and Glenn were the only two deaths I cried at. Though, I did get a bit misty eyed when the pike victims were struggling against the Whisperers in the barn.
1) Daryll is overrated 2) Dale was a great addition to the show because of amount of morality he still had, i still think he should've died, but not so early.
I always wondered why they never tell anyone one they learned at the cdc. They all saw that brain scan but it never gets mentioned to anyone who is confused about the state of the Walkers.
Are you going to mention how badly Frank Darabont, his friends and the show's budget was fucked over by AMC? or the prequel series that was going to give that grenade a backstory?

No. Just different characters. And arguably better ones in the comic honestly. Case in point (among a couple dozen): Axel. I mean seriously. What. The. Fuck.
Rick: I love you so much. Lori: Good then you won't mind that I banged Shane. Rick: ... Lori: I love you. 5 MINUTES LATER... Dale: We are gathered here today to...
Me too but you can see later on in the show why he wouldn't fit (sadly, dale was great) but SPOILERS NEXT HERSHEL was great until he died (im not past season 4 so don't say any deaths
Comics. I feel like the show took too many liberties, a lot of which weren't necessary, and strayed too far from the comics at points. I don't really like how they butchered the hell out of certain characters, with Andrea's in particular being one of the worst offenses, and completely cut others. Don't get me wrong, the show is alright and it's okay to like the changes it made, but I for one prefer the original comic.
I actually quite like the CDC arc and it’s definitely my favorite change from the comics, I know Robert Kirkman has said he doesn’t want to go in depth about the Virus and the possibility of a vaccine/cure yet but that doesn’t mean he has to leave the slate completely blank
The biggest difference which ultimately made me stop watching the show was how they portrayed my favorite character, Andrea. In the show she's EXTREMELY unstable to the point where you just want her to die, but in the comics she's an extremely reliable, essential character who serves as a major rock for the group. Them making her an unlikable bitch and killing her off was what made me stop watching the show altogether, I was just too butt hurt. Also I'm 21 Volumes in on the comic book and she STILL isn't dead.
+Tommy Imburgia I agree that doing what they did to Andrea is probably one of the worst crimes committed by the show. I still love the show, but... man, what could've been.
+The Matas Sasha right now is getting bits of Michonne and bits of Andrea from this same point in the comics. She's not completely similar to either of them, though.

I'll be honest, if they remained 100% faithful to the comics, the show would not have lasted as long as it has.
Jiggie Bleu ,True ,but they diverted from it as seasons go by and now its crap.
Yeah I am probably done when they kill off rick coming up.
It's because of Daryl probably.
Jiggie Bleu you're right but if they had the show wouldnt be the streaming hot pile of 🗑 that it is now.
I liked dale if he wasn't the voice of reason then Shane would of killed rick and more
Dale's death hit me the hardest
Rebecca Wutzke Dale was the most bearable character in the show tbh
Alladeen Madafaker I think it was a good death. Carl let a walker go and inadvertently killed Dale
Dale was the voice of reason, he dies and everyone goes fucking crazy.
Then Hershel grows a pair of balls and steps up, he dies, and at that point
“No going back bob.”
(I know it’s a bad joke)
I could not agree more! (But I still wanted her to live. And change.
Wait you’re telling me fan favorite Daryl wasn’t even in the comics 😦
Thats cause the comics came first and Daryl was created for the show
He wasn’t even meant for the show, Norman reedus auditioned for the part of Merle but the producers wanted to cast Micheal rooker as Merle, but like Norman reedus so much they made the part of Daryl for him, as Merles brother
Or Merle, Sasha, T-Dog, Jackie, Ed.
And Carol may as well be a show character too.
Sounds like a Voice crack at 5:16 it's when he says also.
I think Dale is awesome. He’s my favorite, along with Rick and Daryl
@Adam Shane sucked I wanted him dead since I saw him
Same do
Adam, but, deep inside, we all know that everyone loved Dale. Even Neagan loved Dale😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Dales Dead...:(
And Glenn??
Andrea is so damn cool and lovable in the comics, I hate how the show handles her character :/
Yea she was supposed to be a independent woman but they failed badly she was so bitchy for no reason
in my eyes, carol in the show is Andrea in the comic, and Andrea in the show, was carol in the comic
She was a badass in the comics.
I thought it was cute that the gangsters protect the elderly.
"I HAVE HELL HOUNDS I MAKE EAT GLENN."
Then their just his Grandma's chihuahuas XD
i wonder if they are still alive...
+Rvolution Wrestling nah they all die in a deleted scene on the dvd

I am truly upset that they said Dale was the worst characters he was probably one of my most favorite characters.
Same
+Dylan Pastore Yeah, he was one of the kindest and thoughtful characters on the show.
+Dylan Pastore I think they were being ironic

Wtf daryl not in the comics??!
@@jackproductionsrblx you do know that the comics came first right you dont actualy think that the shows (amazing) character they made up should of magicly been in the comics that came out over half a decade earlier
Hes not in the comics because the comics came out first and the show made him and a bunch of other characters to be in the show
grey21hunter he wasn’t even supposed to be a character in the show
yeah the actor of daryl met on of the staff at a comic con or something and they became friends so the dude asked the daryl actor if he wanted to be in the show cuz he was an actor so the spots were filled so they created daryl
@@sam-yx8fr he's called norman reedus
+Cal DW Like in Game of Throne
+kamil0162 Exactly.
Point being, this isn't exactly a situation where you can protest the adaptation's changes from its source material without simultaneously ripping the dude who wrote that source material.
personally, i liked dale. he made decent decisions and tried to stop arguments by stopping them
when you realise that everyone who saved rick is dead
Morgan is alive. Atleast in the show.
picklickwick yeah
Andrea still alive an she saves Rick all the time in comics

+Hans Peter You're not alone..
+Hans Peter Same I liked Dale too, I was pissed when he died.
Dale was awesome.
Vanessa Pierce Indeed.
Carol is an amazing character i love the character evolution.
omg, Andrea and Dale sleep together in the comic? 😂😷
PS4-MsSheHulk When I read it in the comic, I was blown away. lmao. xD In the show, he was more of a father figure so I didn't expect in the books.
PS4-MsSheHulk Dale trying to tap that ass since season 1 😅😅
PS4-MsSheHulk Theres a lot of sex in the comics. Maggie & Glenn are always sneaking around. Carol & Tyresse too lol
Don't forget Michonne and Tyresse that one time which pissed off Carol. xD
They're together for quite a long time in the comics, until Dale's death, which was the death that Bob had in the show. Nowadays, Andrea's with Rick, which Michonne takes now in the show.
Sophia doesn’t die in the comic, compared to the show and is married to Carl. So that’s a massive change as well.
It really changed the trajectory a lot
Hey now, Dale is not the worst. He's like, the best.
+FoolsGil Comic Dale and Andrea are the best...only Comic Carol sucks
+Yutaka5000 Andrea is the absolute worst. Oh wait I mean "was" the worst. Oh that makes me so happy.
+Darrell Gulseth yes the tv version was a useful as carol but. Her comic counterpart is way better.
Yutaka5000 I haven't read the comics (yet), but in the show she makes everything worse than it already is.
+Darrell Gulseth I agree with you there didn't like her much. I recommended you read the comic and consider it an alternate universe to the show. Andrea is way better.
Please continue this series! It's not only a refresher course for me, but it's a helpful tool that I can share with others to show the differences in the comics and the show.
we will! we're not just doing TWD (we did RAMBO last time) but we will def keep TWD ones going too if you guys all want it!
CineFix DO WANT!
Shane probably said something about the hospital being overrun and assumed Rick had been eaten
toasega Well maybe under normal circumstances of thinking her husband was dead...but at the time the entire world pretty much went to shit.
Cal DW
That's where "Character" comes in.
Cal DW
I get what you're saying, but talking about Carl being a killer eventually is mistaken in my opinion.

Carol in the tv version is one of the best alterations they could’ve done. Love her character arc.

Frances Nolan it was darlys fault
If I'm not mistaken, supposedly in the comics Carol killed herself because Rick didn't love her
*Glad she didn't in the show*
Melaxirayz that’s not entirely why she did it
That's not entirely true, she was dating Tyreese and he cheated on her with Michonne, after that she almost died when she slit her wrist.

Not really cos that would be a waste of the rest of the comics
It makes sense
But it doesn’t
I love the Season 1 so much I think it's so funny except the death parts
CDC helped move the narrative too, they needed a way to expel a bunch of exposition that a lot of the other characters couldn't do for the audience
what was so bad with dale and andrea? they were great and interesting characters. It was nice seeing a few people not being able to take the zombie apocalypse great and living through depression/suicidal thoughts, was really sad to see them go.

Horace Sequeira The other way around. But K.
5:30 the CAROL!! part got me laughing 😂
I like the comics more because they can do more with the characters and don’t have as many limits as the tv show.
Yeah, they can say fuck.
DALE WAS MY FAV CHARACTER!!! HOW CAN Y'ALL HATE HIM???
Marvin Perez not my favorite but I liked his character
Rip Glenn lol
ikr 😭
Rip Carl
So the show has more characters and character developement? Well that's good.
Whiskii Face more useless characters that don't matter at all
Yeah. Sucks they keep dying.
Not really more chacters. They cut out tons of chacters and added their own. Alot of Hersels kids werent in the show billy, ben, arnold, susie and a few more. Instead we got beth.. They have the same amount of chacters becasue they cut alot out and add their own constantly. Like holly never made it to the show but they created sasha and gave allnof hollys scenes to sasha who was never in the comics.
No. Just different characters. And arguably better ones in the comic honestly. Case in point (among a couple dozen): Axel. I mean seriously. What. The. Fuck.
The show has Daryl
"Dale was the worst" - i dont think youre getting away with that bud
I mean if they didn't have differences there would be no surprises
Rick: I love you so much.
Lori: Good then you won't mind that I banged Shane.
Rick: ...
Lori: I love you.
5 MINUTES LATER...
Dale: We are gathered here today to...
Toby Chivers lol
The main difference between the comics and the show - in the comics Carl isn't a annoying little prick.
Also Rick only has one hand.
CAAAAaaaaaaAAAAAAaaaaARRRRRLLLLL!!!!
+CineFix Corral*
I like Carl a lot now, do people still hate him?? I think he's finally grown up, as soon as he became useful I approved.
I'd say he isn't an annoying prick *anymore* he's starting to grow up
comic = glenn is dead
comic = carl is badass
I will never not be pissed off by Andrea's character assassination, especially after she went out like a fucking boss in the comics
"Don't dead, open inside."
its actually don't open, dead inside but still made me laugh.

What do you prefer?
Comic?
or
Show?
(In my opinion, I prefer the show)
Black Seed show
Comics much more better
Comics definitely
Game
"Season 1", proceeds to spoil Andrea's death
I actually quite like the CDC arc and it’s definitely my favorite change from the comics, I know Robert Kirkman has said he doesn’t want to go in depth about the Virus and the possibility of a vaccine/cure yet but that doesn’t mean he has to leave the slate completely blank
Comic is 100 times better, no contest even
The biggest difference which ultimately made me stop watching the show was how they portrayed my favorite character, Andrea.
+Tommy Imburgia You're right, she's a badass in the comics.
+Tommy Imburgia I agree that doing what they did to Andrea is probably one of the worst crimes committed by the show. I still love the show, but... man, what could've been.
+Tommy Imburgia Sasha is like Andrea.
+The Matas Sasha right now is getting bits of Michonne and bits of Andrea from this same point in the comics. She's not completely similar to either of them, though.
