One of the best explanations of the power station ive seen, very well done. If you have loud vintage amps you want to totally enjoy, the Fryette is the only way to go. Best investment ive ever made as far as an attenuator is concerned.
Do you know how simpler linear attenuators deal with impedances when a speaker is connected to them? Do they react to the impedance of the speaker at all? I have never measured the impedance curves. Would be interesting to see how different load boxes measure.
