It's funny you mentioned about things at home driving you crazy. We have this annoying cord hanging in my house across the floor because it is from the previous tenants cable but we aren't sure if we can clip it or what, but I'd like to staple it down or something as it is such an eye sore! Yes, change is necessary sometimes even though it can be hard haha!

I needed this motivation to get my house cleaned up! Also, we have to do the same thing with outlets, our house is around 80 years old and the outlets are sparse in some areas lol

Hey hey look at your Monstera in the background!! 😍😍 It looks amazing! I really need to get a trellis of some sort for mine bad, and it really needs to be re-potted. I've only set one main goal for myself this year and that is to slow down. I think in some ways I definitely have slowed down, but I do still feel like I'm rushing a lot! Oh the dreaded floors!! They are what always fall by the wayside for me. I just forget about them a lot, and then I also am trying to do the things that are a higher priority which tend to take up most of my time (when I actually have time to clean!). I want to read more too! I'm so close to finishing the book I've been reading for well over a year now, The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks. I got it for my birthday 2 years ago. I'm such a slow reader, but I think that's because maybe sub consciously I just don't want the books I read to end! But I am excited to finish reading this one so I can focus on another one next. My dad has been pumping out books lately. He's self published on Amazon. I've only read 1 so far and it took me like 2 years! Oh wait make that 2 books because he has one children's book of a story he made up when my sister and I were little. So I did read it out loud to my kids, but I don't think they were really listening all the way. I'll have to read it again. My mom taught me how to hand sew when I was maybe 8 or 9 and I went to town making all these teeny tiny itty bitty pillows! I tried hand embroidery a couple years ago and I have yet to finish the set I have. I'm going to send you a picture of my progress (you will love it!!). It has been on my mind lately since I saw it in my dreambox just sitting there waiting for me to come back to it. Oh there are sooooo many things I want to do (and need to do) that sometimes I don't even know what to start with! 🤣🤣 Ok wow yup it was my turn to send you like a literal book for a comment haha!!😀😊❤🤣

I feel like I do more weekly resets vs monthly resets but I think if I switched and did an intentional monthly one, more would get done! Like the pain points that I wouldn't normally tackle during the week
I love the monthly reset for the goals, and becausethe weekly resets just don't happen a lot for me right now. 🙈 maybe I need to try and do more of those on here since that's when I get the most done. 😅

Small repairs around the house is my reset I try to accomplish one big thing once a month like replacing a ceiling fan touch up paint and so forth
