25 years ago as an angry 14 year old I discovered Bad Religion, and they were my gateway into punk rock. Today as a 39 year old father of 2 they are still my favourite band. These guys are punk rock royalty. Kids of today, recognise!
A friend of mine was an exchange student in States. When he came back we listened bands like Descendents and Bad Religion from a coped C-tape. Year was 1990. Punk's not dead, she's just tired 48 years old mother of two.
Jay's bass has a great tone in this performance. Great performance by all. And I totally agree with Mr. Brett at the end, to me that this lineup is the "real" Bad Religion. All members, current and past, have something that they bring to BR, but there's something about this lineup that works so well together

Nice to see them 'round again! my BR'S CDs were gathering dust! I guess the music of your teens leaves a mark. I find them twice as awsome! Thx God you can turn to old records and so. Not much today about Rock. I don`t get present-day music. In case there is something to understand at all
I do think this lineup is the best, and few bands can say that a "non-classic" lineup is their best, but BR can, as Brooks is a more interesting drummer even than Finestone, Brian Baker steps their guitar game up, and having Brett back puts them in a great place lyrically (and adds a je ne sais quois to the backing vocals, to say nothing of "Dharma and the Bomb", which also rules).
This is the best line up. This is the line up that values not cheating the studio and actually sounding like they do on the records. The rest of the line ups just don't sound exactly the same (Like candidate when they left out the falsetto part live... I don't think this lineup would have...)
