1) Disassembly: You're ASMR royalty! 2) Watching your casting solidify/freeze blows my mind. Does it really happen that quickly? 3) The boys and the snacks...👍 4) Those darned 10mm sockets might be my favourite recurring characters!
I've posted this suggestion before but I'm going to keep trying. I think a great addition to your treasure room would be a copper crucible. Fill a old crucible to the brim with molten copper and let it harden in the crucible, then break the crucible and you should have a brick in the shape of a smaller crucible you can polish and engrave. Would be a sick piece for the room. Or maybe using a mold you can cast a normal crucible out of copper. Who else wants to see a copper crucible.
if he filled the cruicible to the brim, the copper cruicible would also be filled and it would not have the actual space inside of it to melt stuff. i know that it's not important since if he tries to melt anything in it, he'll melt it but still it feels like there should be a space inside of it.
I agree the best method would be making a copper crucible by sand mold, taking one of his nice crucibles (or 3d printing one if he can) and using it with the sand to make a mold, it could be difficult but I think it would be worth it and would make for great content.
I've suggested something similar once too in one of his earlier videos. To take a crucible that is due for retirement and fill it to the max with obviously molten copper. For show let it cooldown with a big ice brick. Once cooled enough chip away the crucible and metal brush the little still stuck crucible pieces off. But your idea of a copper crucible is also a good one. Your idea is Tarra and mine idea is Netto if you catch my Bruto drift😅
@@mafin_official where does he suggest using a copper crucible for melts? I think the comment reads more as a "would be a cool mantle piece." Considering how beautiful copper is when polished and shiny, I agree.
I absolutely love how this channel has progressed. Started as some guy melting stuff in his garage, stacking ingots on bookshelves. To now having a full complex with dedicated facility and treasure room. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see you get to your 1000KG goal.😁👍
They're sleeping, bless the little sockets, it's been a hard day!! Another thing I like is audio! In Terminator 2 when Sarah is escaping pescadero hospital I always loved the sound effect for the key entering the lock and the breaking the key in the lock, the sound of the ingots releasing from the moulds and falling onto the brick is satisfying and placing the mould onto the brick makes a nice sound, same with ingots on ice, and keep yer speed down racing away there, wait!!!!
LMAO, wain' about with your big sausage! I love the copper as it freezes and the cool patterns when you clean it up. Very cool!! 10mm sockets all ran away, great sense of humor. !!!
