Thank you for this video. I used it to take my dryer apart and fix it. A lose screw was left in my jeans pocket and was causing alot of nose. I was able to remove the door and top panel and the screw dropped to the ground. Now, Im a HERO again in my household! Thank You.

You saved me from costly dryer repair/replacement! I opened my dryer up and found a penny causing grinding between the plastic bearings of the door and the drum. Looks like there’s a bit of fraying on my belt as well but at least I can dry for now. Thank you so much!

Just found your video and this is the exact same model that I have. The noise I had was a rumbling while the drum was turning. The problem was caused by lint packed into the vanes of the blower. Once this was cleaned out, the rumbling went away. Thanks for the great instructions on how to open up the dryer.

Mine too. I've never seen lint packed there. I'm going to replace the lightweight (and worn) lint screen.

I just had an easy fix on my Maytag dryer, the door latch broke and fell inside the door itself got the model number and ordered a new latch and pressed it in no tools required. Probably saved myself $200 bucks from service call and parts. Your videos are much appreciated 😊

Thank you SO much for making these repair videos, Ben! I have a new GE dryer just like this one, so having these videos available as a reference will certainly help me address any problems that may crop up.
    Take care and God Bless.

My GE Profile was a bit older than this model but came apart similarly. The belt was broken, glides were worn but not right through and it had a ton of lint build up in the blower assembly. I replaced the belt, glides and front felt. I also did a thorough cleanup of the blower and ducts. My 12 year old GE is now running like new. Thanks for a great repair video!

Thanks for the video. I was apprehensive when I watched you getting the drum out thinking this was going to be difficult. But it turned out I just needed new drum glides. A very simple fix but would have been much more difficult without your explanation of getting the machine apart. I also noticed the rim of my drum felt rough and felt that it would eat through the new glides if I left it like that. So I took some steel wool and smoothed it out.

Thanks for this video. Mine is only two years old and developed a loud vibration but was still heating and moving the drum. Turned out it was thick lint jamming the blower which was causing friction against the drum belt. Cleaned that out and it's as quiet as a hummingbird again.

As far as dryer brands how do you like ADC. I picked up an ADC 20lb. Series 7 for the house. Except for it being very heavy and having to put in a 6-inch dryer vent this baby can really dry clothes fast. I'm pretty sure this will be very reliable its built like a tank. Have you had any experience with these?

Hey just found your feed I was looking for some information on dishwashers. Bought a Whirlpool dishwasher 5 years ago and now it doesn't spray inside I've replaced two of the cheap pieces which did not fix it and now the motor if I add $100 to it I get a brand new dishwasher so😮. Anyway I looked it up on the internet and they're supposed to last 10 years and this was 5 years in when mine quit working the range anywhere from 1500 to 500.00. I agree with you on the refrigerator unit I've never liked the ice and water in the door it's just too much what are you want to do is keep your food cold thanks
