i think what made the first one so good was obviously the weight, but the midsole being a little stiff and upper being a little stiff (for an upper) made it all work so well together. what doesn't work is soft upper with a stiff midsole (hoka carbon x 3). hoping that the upper is a tad softer and the midsole is a tad softer and they work as well together as the SB1

superblast 3 is better
Just need better traction and slightly better fit. Hoping I'll find V1 on sale and just rock with them again. 450 on current pair. Still reach for it.
