I’ve got both these bags now (in black too) and i really do love them both so much i couldn’t part with either at this time. For me the 19 is an easier every day bag because it’s less elegant than the trendy but still classic Chanel. It’s also much easier (for me at least) to wear all day because the weight is in the chain which is more evenly distributed over my shoulder. But my trendy is my first Chanel love. Sooo classic to me and that gold bar is my hardware of dreams. How can you go wrong?! Wish you’d kept them both but now you can buy a new bag 😏

I love both bags. Trendy cc looks more formal, 19 Bag it is Trendy now but maybe not forever. Just like boy bag, when it first come out . I don’t have Trendy in my collection, I am not so sure if I will add to my collection in the future. Thank You so much for sharing. Awesome comparison ❤️

They r quite different. The 19 is a crossbody so more for casual wear where else the trendy cc (especially in black) is more suitable for work as it’s formal & u r supposed to shoulder carry it.. it’s too bulky for crossbody to me

Thanks for reviewing the pros and cons of the 19 Bag. It was high on my list and I’ve been going back and forth whether or not I should buy it but I’m worried about the weight of the chain strap and now that you’ve mentioned that the strap and the leather part were the main reason you are selling it, I’ve decided to pass on it. It’s super trendy now but for that price point it’s probably safer to stay with the classic styles.

I choose the trendy too but does it bother you that they changed the design such that the strap is no longer detachable? I wonder if people would prefer to have the option even though removing the straps would leave two holes on top of the bag
Jian H G I personally like the new design because I heard a lot of people complain that the strap on the old model would come out while wearing it

esther khor I’m definitely more careful with it and I wouldn’t put it on the ground but I don’t think it’s as delicate as most people think it is
