First Rate set-up ! I purposely scaled down from a 45L Fox Rio Grande to a 25L version of the same, because I had a tendency to pack/bring everything. But the shoulder and waist straps are not long enough. So I'm going find someone who is able to stitch the heavy nylon & webbing so I can just change to Alice pack straps. And add two at the bottom for a rolled inflatable mat. My H2O will be on my web belt. Does your Orange Spot have the ability to send a "Mayday/SOS" ? We have a Helicon Tex distributor in the States, but way less selection of goods than for Europe/Oceana
Thank you. I was the same as you, carried way too much. Now doing it this way, I can carry just what i need to be comfortable. The spot I used when I collapsed with dehydration. Pressed the SOS button and within minutes they were onto it. I am lucky here, I have two companies within an hour where I can buy or order from to get Helikon-Tex gear.
Nice setup mate that's some next level stuff🤙🏼. Just one question, how much weight could u put in those generel molepacks on the side? Because I feel like those 10mm mole straps which they are connected to aren't to stable.
Thank you Lennart. I don't carry much weight in them, just the quick things like my water filter, paracord, etc There is an internal row of webbing backing it for extra strength, but I wouldn't put too much weight in them. All the best. Clive. 🤠
Great setup. I like the idea with adding pouches on the front. Thanks!🖐🤠🏕
Thank you.
Adding the pouches make it so much easier to organise & get easy access to what's needed.
All the best.
