My kind of comedy, aged seventy fucking two..into race walking , golf and bird watching and I m better than John still at all three lol, especially golf and I can outdrive him even now ! probably
To be fair to Tim Farron, he abstained on a vote about same sex marriage. his religious choices are against but his political view was its up to the individual. but in his statement at the time he said he abstained from voting (as did loads of others) on the basis he felt it was a ridiculous thing for Parliament to have to vote on, and that the "rule" should have just changed, without Parliamentary involvement. the whole delay between civil partnerships becoming marriage was actually down to the decision of the Monarch via the Lords.
I am confused about the phone call anecdote at the end. If Ellis was using his UK mobile in Australia to call people in the UK, then obviously it would be costing a bomb. But why would he think John was paying for the call unless John made the call? Then John would be paying...
Would have loved to have heard more about Stewart Lee in that podcast because he s darker than John.He was my previous favorite stand up but John and Elis double act has taken over. People who do not "get them " are not worth knowing
