I just can’t bring myself to put down doom fang pauldron and choir of one with onslaught refit on void titan. That build single handedly trivialized every piece of PvE content in this game to me.
The sheer amount of damage you do with this thing with onslaught x3 surge x4 and volatile rounds from nade proc is jaw dropping.
For real! Why would I use anything else.
That's how I feel with Prismatic Titan + Consecration and Choir of One.
Nothing survives that.
A note on Heavy Ammo Finder mods: They're less efficient with special weapons compared to primary weapons (IIRC the math is something like 4x more effective to use a primary weapon than a special), but special weapons still count.
Where do you get this primary DPS is not even compatible to heavy or special

@humanactivated1017 It isn't comparable in DPS. Perhaps I should have clarified: Primary weapon kills progress towards your next ammo brick four times more efficiently than special weapons.
Ammo finder mods work on a counter system. Every weapon kill you get fills an invisible meter, and once that meter fills, the next enemy drops a finder brick. Primary weapons have a 4x modifier to their counters, and exotic primaries have an added 1.5x multiplier beyond that. So getting kills with only a special weapon, while the kills themselves will happen much faster, will have finder ammo drop four times slower.

So kills with primary generate more heavy ammo than special? Am a new player.
Really wish slayers fang had discord or some kinda reserves perk. Feels like it runs out way too fast when using it for ad clear.
Thats because despite what the shatter projectiles would have you believe bungie built it to be a dps option that happens to have champion stunning built in to make it more desirable. It would have been easy to build old gods rite into it as the catalyst (like dark forged trigger is for DMT) and had the normal legendary weapon perks be something like: discord, destabilizing rounds, chain reaction, and a unique perk or 2 that buffs the exotic perk like how wisk keeper (a more recent craftable exotic) did it. Bungie had 2 good craftable exotics as examples of how to push this shotgun from good to great and they fumbled the bag anyway. Hell they could have even built an exotic version of discord that triggers on multikills with the exotic as well as a kill with another weapon instead of making discord just an addon perk. So many options but no, we got cascade point, stats for all, loose change, and R. Brace as "catalyst" options. L bungo + L exotic (even though the exotic's design is damn cool and it could be better if people complain loud enough like they did with wicked implement)

it is like complaining about rocket launchers have not enough reserves, cause after ad clearing with a dmg weapon i dont have ammo any more ^^
Fr it kinda sucks that it pales in comparison to a legendary for general no backup plans gameplay
Side note: Unbreakable also really helps with Overshield upkeep btw.

Hell yeah, controlled demolition. Probably my favourite aspect of the entire game
Any day with a Tizzle build video is a good day in my book.
I use no backup plans like you do in the build but with slayer’s fang as the main weapon, and I managed to create a build with it on prismatic that sacrifices some survivability by not being able to proc devour, but in exchange I can lean more into abilities and also I can more consistently get grenade kills to proc volatile rounds, which in turn can help compensate for the lack of devour
The build isn’t complete as I’m still tweaking with it, trying to find a way to better manage ability regen, but one way I somewhat managed around that is by having constant transcendence, which I can do by throwing glacier nades and then doing consecration, which fills a good amount of both sides of the transcendence meter, to which if not full, I get it to full with my weapons
I like bastion and unbreakable for this build in gms because they're the most safe options. I prefer duality as well, but I am interested to try the new exotic. Unbreakable is nice to help you push up or back away, and bastion helps maintain the overshield and provide good defense.
I've been running a no-backup plans build a lot this whole season. The big buff to void overshields goes a long, long way.
Also for those who can't craft imperial decree, another option (if you have the pattern) is supercluster with essentially the same roll. Reconstruction+Surrounded.
Discord with Surrounded is the play on Scavengers Fate on this build. Destablilizing Rounds is also a waste, if you have an Overshield and use your uncharged melee to punch anything, that applies Volatile with Controlled Demolitionist. On this build I also like to run Deterministic Chaos for a ranged option alongside double shottie, and if you use it at closer range it also heals you via Controlled Demolistionist.
Overshields are still too weak in things like GMs IMO, you lose the overshield so quickly, and there goes all your DR with it.

I actually think with this build, Scavengers Fate works better than Slayers Fang. Slayer should have had Discord instead of Loose Change as a catalyst.
@@michaelferrarini1463I didn’t realize until a couple days ago that when it was reissued it became void… add the fact that it got Discord and Trench Barrel.
If I get a little bit of time I might try and farm for it a little.
The volitile with controlled demo with the neutral melee only appiles to one enemy at a time whereas with any aoe void ability with the aspect, a well aimed shield toss (even though the ability sucks in comparison to basically every other ranged melee), and DESTABILIZING ROUNDS you can apply volitile to everything in an area with one push of a button/trigger/bumper instantly. Destabilizing rounds is not a waste, you just prefer different perks. I have actually used the enhanced discord + enhanced destabilizing rounds scav. fate and its an extremely fun and useful tool and it's only going to get better because people keep complaining about destabilizing rounds being "a bad perk" when the perk is ok but can be better while volitile as a debuff needs work just like a lot of non prismatic subclasses need reworks at their core.

I don’t have the new shotgun but ideal load out is Riiswalker/A Sudden Death (reissued)/Legend of Arcrius
Both have Discord but A Sudden Death can also get Trench Barrel. Scavenger’s Fate is easier to farm.
Personally I use Suppressor Grenades. Gives you anti champ and allows you to get into enemies in harder content.
I love this build and it’s only real downside is being in content that you need range but you just trade something out away from the fantasy to make it work.

Tizzle you should try second chance exotic with slayers fang. Ive been having a blast with this. Youll weaken everything on the map, youll have overshield up almost all the time, youll make orbs and void breaches like crazy, and youll have devour up all the time. I use the same fragments as the build in the video so you will make everything volatile. Its ability spammy with the 2 melee charges and the crazy grenade recharge rate. Melee deals with barrier champs, the shotgun deals with overload and you can take the artifact perk for heavy grenade launchers for unstopables or a pulse rifle in kinetic slot.(i use blast furnace with kinetic tremors and one for all) I run ×2 void surge mods and edge transit with bait n switch for dps. It does very good in onslaught and i used it to flawless kells fall on master. I carried my team through contest of elders. Ive been trying to think of a way to make this work on prismatic but im not so sure lol
Scav's fate with discord, closing time & assault mag has already got me a bunch of reaper medals. Love it for PvE
I remember using NBP in an exo challenge with heritage at launch and it was pretty nice.

I made nearly this identical build yesterday except I used banner/sentinel because its fun not because its good. I also tried it with doom fang but no backup plans was more fun. I used all the void artifact perks and ran some legend lost sectors. I think it might actually be an alright GM build. I mean using a shotgun in GM's is not the best usually but with a constant over shield it might not be awful.
Slayers fang is bugged and makes you weak if the shots bounce and hit you. Also the stun from it, still let's overload champs res health. @CheeseForever just did a vid on it.

Had to settle for Discord Adagio on Riiswalker. This build is making me curious enough to boot up D2 again and pause my RE4R platinum efforts lol
I find Undermining redundant with Slayers Fang since it weakens most of the time.
Meanwhile Echo of Instability cooks on this build because of all the ricochets. A couple shots clearance whole rooms on legend campaign stuff.
IB is back, and I've just had a discord Riiswalker drop, so I thought I'd revisit this video. If it's unique as you say, maybe you should repost this as a community post - people love a reason to grind. Personally I'm just trying to get the damn 'rapid kills in the Crucible' seasonal quest done
100% doing this, but I feel like Choir of One is a better option overall. It has range and uplcoae damage too, just lacks weaken which can be done via other methods, but most importantly it has way way way more ammo. I'm loving this shoty so far but my god the ammo reserve is atrocious.
As a Void main though, this season ends is Christmas. So many void artifact mods that pump out damage and weaken.
Bungie missed out by not continuing to make heavy shotguns or sniper rifles

Its just hard not to run syntho/ assassin on titan. I tried the icefall mantle build but tbh there are no artifact perks that incentivizes me to build around them
Are people using Conditional Finality? I feel like there’s some potential there if you have an Attrition Orbs weapons to proc overshield via Facet of Purpose on Prismatic. Also Facet of Ruin can boost it a lil.

And its very fun, but slightly difficult in overshield managment. Because shield trow and orb give just 5 second void overshield, you need first kill someone with shotgun

unfortunately none of the GMs that are left are very conducive to triple shotty. So probably not for awhile
I tried pretty hard to get this thing to work on hunter but it really just isn’t very good for anyone besides Titan.

I can’t lie double special is so cooked, it’s just not worth it
Double special is nice if you have ability spam that can carry adclear, so it's not too great on some subclasses
