Love watching Freeman hit. Ohtani is dazzling, but Freeman is such a steady, professional hitter.
Dodgers bullpen came up huge and kept us in the game. CT3 and Barnesy passed the baton to Shohei in the 9th and he delivered big time! We needed this win!

Why? His ERA in the game was 3.5, which is good but nothing crazy...also he got lucky a few times and had great support from his defense, definitely would have allowed a few more hits with a normal defensive performance.
It's not like he allowed 0 runs and then they lost it.

Overall, I liked their performance today. I still think we could be stronger in certain areas, but there were contributions from throughout the lineup, and the pitching did well to not allow any runs after the second inning. They really battled, and it’s the kind of thing we need to see more of if they’re going to succeed in the playoffs.
I just don’t think they’ll be great in the playoffs. Maybe it’s just me, but I honestly don’t see them winning another World Series for quite a while. The bats always go quiet in the postseason for them.

Well, The Big D kicked it today. I nearly turned the game off because I was waiting for another game. Thankfully, I returned to my original LA v Detroit game and was blown away. The Tigers were hungry and stayed in today’s Saturday afternoon game! 👍

The Dodgers were expected to struggle after their series loss to the Phillies, but they bounced back with a victory thanks to Ohtani’s hit. Hopefully, they can sweep the Tigers and head into the All-Star break on a high note.🙌

We finally got a win. However, I still feel we can do much more. Our pitching staff is not the strongest. Our hitters should be producing runs. I love Ohtani I just can’t stand how he chases. Just looks ugly. But hey, is numbers speak for themselves. He is the second best right now. Judge is the number one guy in baseball.

Sorry to all Tigers fanboys but Skubal just isn't HIM. Up 3-0 today and he still had to blow it and give his bullpen a tough job by allowing that HR and another run...given that the Defense Tigers played was awesome and they saved a couple of runs for him.
Can't compete with guys like Ragans, Lugo, Singer, Nola, Houck, heck I would even say someone like Ranger Suarez.
