Hola Adrián! Gracias por este vídeo. Soy palista de embarcación dragón y me gustaría saber qué relojes de muñeca actualmente recomiendas para medir los entrenamientos. Gracias.
External sensors are not required. Simply mount the watch on the boat to use the app. The watch has an accelerometer inside. The application uses the information obtained from the accelerometer to detect the stroke rate.
Hi, I'm curious if the "distance" field, displays or is able to display, the data in meters for the first kilometer (1m-999m), like it was on 910xt or in swimming mode, and not in kilometers like 0.01-0.02 !? I like the precision, at least for the first kilometer... :) Thanks for app in any case!
Bought a used 920XT because of this app, been using it for a week, love it! Question, is there a way to add Auto Pause like the default Run mode? Without Auto Pause, the Avg Speed and Avg Stroke Rate dropped down when I forgot to hit pause when taking breaks. Any advice? Thank you!
Hi there, thanks for the last update, I dounlowed to my Fenix6 and it worked verry well. Just a aditional question, when I edit the field "Event Type" on Garmin Connect Web Version the Canoeing metrics disapear. Do you know why?
Hi Fabio! I cannot reproduce this problem. If you edit the "Event Type" the Canoeing metrics are still available. If you change the "Activity Type" then you will lose the Canoeing metrics. It is how Garmin works. The same happens if you change a running activity to a hiking activity, all the run fields will disappear.
@@Carpente thanks for your reply. I´ve made a mistake ... it still works even if I change the "Event Type" . If it´s possible, I´d like to sugest you to update a version counting laps a km for eg. alarming us that another km was completed. It´s very usefull.
@@Farrebola You can activate the Auto Lap mode in the Canoeing app. It allows starting a new interval automatically when the configured distance has been reached. canoeingapp.carpente.es/en/configuration/
Hola Adrián. Me parece genial tu app pero parece que no la has actualizado desde 2019. ¿Es posible utilizarla con el Garmin Forerunner 245 ahora que ha bajado de precio? Gracias

Can you please make it work with the 735XT?
Great video. How was your watch able to pick up the stroke rate? Did you have some kind of sensor on the paddles?

Hola, se puede utilizar en el Forerunner 735xt?

Does the App also work at your arm?
No. The watch should be firmly attached to the boat to ensure proper operation of the app.

Sorry! The auto pause feature is not currently included in the canoeing app. I will include it in the next update.

Lo será en el futuro, pero por ahora todavía no está disponible para ese reloj.
por favor, actualizarlo para que pueda usarse en Garmin forunner 735xt
Is it posible download to my Fenix6?
Not yet. Next week I will publish an update that adds support for the Fenix 5 and 6.
Available in forerunner 245?
Yes. You can see all the compatible devices in the following link: canoeingapp.carpente.es/en/compatible-devices/
Is the app only available in this model of watch?
Currently, only the Garmin Forerunner 920XT supports the app. I'm working on adding support for other Garmin watches.
@@Carpente are you working on compatibility for the forerunner series, specifically the 945, anytime soon?
The Fenix 5 will be the next watch compatible with the app. Later the Forerunner 945.
Fenix 6 support would bei great too
