Hey Nigel ! Just wanted to say hi from france. your are my favorite bonsaï master. You are awesome because : You dont have 95% of pines, you have lot of différent stuff. You dont have 95% of 1meter+ bonsaïs. And mostly important you have a very very accurate sens of propotions, wich is more difficult on smaller trees ! I love very small trees , most of my bonsaïs are small. i hope one day i'll do as good as you. Keep on the good work ! cheers🤩
Nice little tree. Forest looks great.
Really enjoyed this episode Nigel...Thanks...
Thanks Nigel, great video...
Thanks Nige 🤙🤙
That is one cool DW and a cool looking pot. Nice work pruning this tree. Nice trunk almost like an old looking tree. Cool! I like your updates.
Michigan resident checking In.
That turkey was the most fun of minor details.
Thank you.
That’s a very nice pot and the tree not so bad i there
I started a cutting of what i think is Pussy Willow (named after the flowers) 2 years ago, and it leafed out super tiny with leaves half an inch long. It had a lot of roots when I transplanted it. I root pruned it reasonably and this year it leaved out like a miniature version of the mature leaf shape! So I decided I will style it like the arctic willows that slowly spread along the rocks and lichen! Some day it will flower and the planting might look like a meadow with a bunch of Mullein growing in it lol.
I like the style that willow is taking on! I'll have to watch you moss the Bog forest tomorrow. Work alarm 4:30am....
🍍 YAY !!
Thanks Nigel!
Hi Nigel it's a sweet little tree. But for me that left horizontal branch is very distracting and I myself would remove it completely. Personal taste only!
Love that pot😍.And the willow too.🌳🌳
So much movement in a compact design
Cool it is native tree to Sweden and the name comes from the northernmost area called Lapland (Lapponum) where it was first described in 1720 by a Swedish botanist. Your speciemen is less downy/hairy than those I seen but maybe due to variation or environment? 😃
👍👌👌
