WOW Drew. Stunning job. It’s the perfect amount of modern and antique. It’s very unique and beautiful. Two things I’d like to share from this homeowner/chef/barista make sure you rinse your espresso machine every night and run pure water through it until it’s clear to keep it lasting for you! And get a splatter shield for when you cook or all of your pots/lamp etc WILL get caked with grease and dust 🫣😅 it’s gross to clean lol I cook 3 meals a day for my family 😂 I can’t wait to see what else you do. It’s been awesome watching you grow and seeing your journey. I’ve been watching for almost 4 years now! Lol

Ohhhhhhhhhh this is SO lovely. Every element….your palette is pure gorgeousness. I love it all , and have enjoyed the lead up to today’s reveal. If this kitchen is on the ground level plant a lovely tree in the ground outside the window. Or in a large pot. For your desired green fix, perhaps a fruit tree. Or a frangipani which will give you winter sun, as they are deciduous, and in spring, summer and Autumn greenery; and creamy (like the cream in your marble) scented frangipanis. I planted three outside my bedroom window (one floor up) for the flower’s scent, Westerly shade and beauty viewed from both my bedroom and my daughter’s bedroom below.
You did such a beautiful job! I questioned everything you did basically, the brown cabinets, the marble pattern, everything and I could not have been more wrong. You had a vision I just didn’t see and it is gorgeous. I love the cabinets and the marble now, they could not be more perfect together. I love the mixed metals and florals. The floor and kickplate, OMG! You’re so talented. PS I’m a FIDM grad in Interior Design just for some cred.
This is the most beautiful kitchen 10/10. There are only a few minor things I would change. The art book, lamp, and body sculpture are giving more living room. I would change it to a cookbook and use a smaller lamp :) other than that literally so good. 😲

I love how you go high pitch when you get excited, and I adore everything you do, you have such an amazing eye for beauty and balance. My favorite spot is the one by the kitchen window, with the big pot with the tree branches stretching out of it. Something about it, I can't quite explain, I am a Taurus, I need nature, inside and outside, or I get sick. And the window with the ethereal filtered sunlight and those branches floating really does it for a little earth goddess flavor in the kitchen. Drew, this is wonderful. I’ve watched you curate many of your beautiful items and every step of your renovation. Just gotta say…I’ve had a lamp next to my stove for 40 years and love it. I have accessories, paintings, open shelves and big plants all over my kitchen; as well as custom white Irish linen draperies and white marble countertops. Some fragile finishes, but that’s my taste and it’s all been this way since 2014 and no complaints. Oh, and I cook every single day. My point is, if you love what you’ve chosen, we all cheer for you and wish you many happy days in your new kitchen.

What I love is that it is such a relatable size kitchen. This only the second video of yours I’ve watched but now I can see why you have such a following. LOVE your style. I have a similar style and have felt kind of outcast over the last decade as design has gone through such a sparse/cold phase. So so glad eclectic type design is coming back. Texture, warmth, the ability to use color, dark rich hues, and pieces that speak to your soul.

I love what you are doing in the kitchen, very warm and timeless. I think that when people follow trends as opposed to their personality, they are throwing money away. What you are doing will still look great 20 years from now and says it is you in every respect. Love you 😍
Tip: with open shelving in the kitchen, it’s always best to have your glasses upside down, in order to keep dust out of them. If you put plates on open shelving, to be honest, I would also have the plates stacked upside down for the same reason. If you don’t believe me, just wait, you’ll eventually find out for yourself.
I thought the same. Unless you develop a habit of rinsing every glass or dish before you use it.... which I might be tempted to do for a design sense, tbh.😄.
And you'll see that there would not only be dust but grease too, from the cooking steam. So, even when you turn the glasses down, you'll have to wash them before use, unless you don't cook (s.a.)🤣

It all looks beautiful - you really have a gift for styling. However, I don’t see any practical things like Cups for the espresso machine or dish soap, cleaning rags or brushes to clean the dishes. I’d like to see those things incorporated in your styling tips for everyday use. I could use some tips for making those things look pretty in a space.
AB Fab! I constantly show my boyfriend different segments of your DIY’s, refinishes and most of all, I can’t even describe how much I Love, Love your showcase styling of every single space you do. Now, on to your full blown kitchen renovation in your new home, you have given me the experience of time travel. By this I mean, you have transported us back in time to what I’d consider a stunning old world, European Italian style kitchen. At least that’s how it speaks to me, I know you have the Spanish, gothic flair happening because it’s a Spanish style home but in your kitchen, I see lots of Euro-Italian with the marble and decor finishes. It’s Bellissimo❣️

Drew, please bare in mind that coffee is acidic and will leave stains (almost immediately) in the beautiful marble. May I suggest you place your coffee machine on a low sided tray to catch the spills & drips. You can find that type of trays on West Elm in many colors, styles. Unless you don’t mind the wear & tear & character of marble.

i'm not normally a fan of marble as I think it can look cold and uninviting, but this is a perfect example of how to style marble correctly. You make it look so beautiful, elegant and timeless, and also very homey and warm at the same time! This is one of the most beautiful kitchens i've ever seen

Crazy thing is that I hate hot coffee!! I rarely use mugs so I’m usually making iced coffee. Same with Marie as well

I love what you are doing in the kitchen, very warm and timeless. I think that when people follow trends as opposed to their personality, they are throwing money away. What you are doing will still look great 20 years from now and says it is you in every respect. Love you 😍
Tip: with open shelving in the kitchen, it’s always best to have your glasses upside down, in order to keep dust out of them. If you put plates on open shelving, to be honest, I would also have the plates stacked upside down for the same reason. If you don’t believe me, just wait, you’ll eventually find out for yourself.
I thought the same. Unless you develop a habit of rinsing every glass or dish before you use it.... which I might be tempted to do for a design sense, tbh.😄.

And you'll see that there would not only be dust but grease too, from the cooking steam. So, even when you turn the glasses down, you'll have to wash them before use, unless you don't cook (s.a.)🤣

It all looks beautiful - you really have a gift for styling. However, I don’t see any practical things like Cups for the espresso machine or dish soap, cleaning rags or brushes to clean the dishes. I’d like to see those things incorporated in your styling tips for everyday use. I could use some tips for making those things look pretty in a space.

Now, on to your full blown kitchen renovation in your new home, you have given me the experience of time travel. By this I mean, you have transported us back in time to what I’d consider a stunning old world, European Italian style kitchen. At least that’s how it speaks to me, I know you have the Spanish, gothic flair happening because it’s a Spanish style home but in your kitchen, I see lots of Euro-Italian with the marble and decor finishes. It’s Bellissimo❣️

Drew, please bare in mind that coffee is acidic and will leave stains (almost immediately) in the beautiful marble. May I suggest you place your coffee machine on a low sided tray to catch the spills & drips. You can find that type of trays on West Elm in many colors, styles. Unless you don’t mind the wear & tear & character of marble.
He actually laminated the marble so it doesn't stain and can easily be cleaned. It's in one of the earlier videos

i'm not normally a fan of marble as I think it can look cold and uninviting, but this is a perfect example of how to style marble correctly. You make it look so beautiful, elegant and timeless, and also very homey and warm at the same time! This is one of the most beautiful kitchens i've ever seen
