I just make my own swivel. Us normal people who aren't paid to fish/boat don't have the money to fork out $1k for a swivel bracket. I know someone will be making a more affordable version for people soon. Who knows, it might even be me! 😅
Exactly the solution I need for my Sportsman 282TE. The current installation blocks my view while navigating and is dangerous when deploying the trolling motor in rolling seas. The installation in your video shows how it is not directly blocking the straight-ahead view and can be deployed while standing inside the boat.
It's a great idea, but you need to make a smaller version for small boats at a cheaper price point. I'm currently making one out of aluminum plate and a down rigger swivel because I have a 1 inch lip on the bow. I'd definitely buy one if it was smaller and 1/3 the price. But guys that own a 36ft boat aren't worried about Breaking Out Another Thousand(BOAT)
When you come to market with a product with no competition you can charge a premium. Simple economics. Engineer your own that doesn’t infringe on their patent and charge your $200

Looks like a fantastic product with an absolutely ludicrous price tag. The price tag is 4 times higher than I anticipated.
B.O.A.T.: Bust Out Another Thousand. Literally for this product.
1 g. Wow. I guess it solves a problem but at that price wow
Exactly! What a price! Geez!
Can you drill a hole for Pull Pin to lock in stowed position ? Thanks

Well done!
This a great product I’m interested but what if I have a bow rail?

I wish I had one… That thing was about 6 months late for me. I already drilled all the holes for my offset plate.
At the asking price, I'd expect it to do what it needs to do, without me touching it. Especially if it was just me out in rough water.
1000 bucks for a mount is crazy, I'd rather make my own solution.
That small square area looks like it will put a lot of stress on the gunnel.
Installing mine next week on a new 370z, let me tell you this swivel is very solid
Can I get it from sea swivel in white?
Hello Sea Swivel do you offer the plate powder coated in white/black?
How about a discount code
Where was this 6 months ago that would have been the way to go
So 6k for spot lock 😢
He said 6061 aluminum, but their website says 7075. Which is it?
Total ripoff at that price. Rounded corners and fancy knobs doesn't make it worth 1K. $120 worth of aluminum and some starboard.
