That was a fun deck to watch. I'd love to be that guy that got saved by the very last card in the deck.
Even against the fist mill-decks back in 1997, gaea's blessing (weatherlight edition) was already the kryptonite for them.
LOL, never underestimate the power of Gaea's Blessing! Decks with green access on the ladder should always have 2, specially because it's a good pseudo-recursion and it's a cantrip, so it's a great card in my opinion! 2 is a good number since you can put one back into your deck with the other if you're unlucky enough to draw both of them.
It also triggers mill players on UA-cam apparently 😆

Fraying Sanity is still one of my favourite card. I milled a 250 deck three times in a row because he had one Gaea's Blessing
The Black instant that eats cars from yard (bring to dust) is in all my mill decks to assist in the old reshuffle problem 😂

i swear you have some kind of psychological issue that makes you discard functional lands and keep pain lands at all costs. it happens every time you do a discard based deck.... must be some kind of subconscious penance thing.

Soul-guide Lantern is a must have for this deck. It's a one-sided grave hate that could cycle.

Glimpse the Unthinkable + bruvak + Fraying sanity is also an instant win!!!! I'd love to see you try a deck with those three!!!
I'd probably run Maddening Cacophony instead, 48 mill is probably still enough to win and if you have only Bruvac or Fraying Sanity, you can kick the Cacophony and still win. It also doesn't require black and works in multi-player as well.

EVERY deck I play in Historic, no matter what colors... always at least one copy of Gaea's Blessing.

If there is one thing that I have learned playing historic: you always, ALWAYS, put one copy of Gaea's Blessing in your deck. Best to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. I just wish I could see the smug look on the mill player's face get destroyed everytime it happens. Still worth it, though.
What % of your games benefit from this inclusion?
That's precisely why I started running cards that exile stuff in the grave at instant speed. No better feeling than seeing the smart ass who thought they had the 1-card blow-out start salt roping me after I exile it.

Decks just like this are the reason I put Gaea's Blessing in them. I even have a deck that can't cast the spell apart from Fires of Invention because of this.

That's MTG arena. If you ever play a mill deck, you match with either 100 plus card deck or Gaea's blessing 90% of the time.

Hey Chris, can you make a prismatic bridge historic brawl deck? You can use prismatic bridge to cheat out time stream navigator and get infinite turns with a haste enabler and you can only play one creature and no planes walkers for this deck. It sounds pretty janky
Tormod's crypt? 0 mana and you can respond to gaea's blessing on the stack with it.
Curse of bloody tome is another option as well

You can also very much annoy them with Fraying Sanity + Mesmeric Orb.
What's that, you milled 7 cards during your upkeep? Well, mill 7 more during your end step, too!
Even more fun with Syr Konrad, the Grim + Mesmeric Orb + Fraying Sanity. So any creatures that go into the graveyards from milling yourself or opponent end up losing your opponent life...
Even more defensive fun with Angel of Suffering + Syr Konrad. Throw in some Gaea's Blessings just to recycle your own library.
Leyline of the Void also helps send your opponent's mill cards to exile. :)

Put Helm of the Host on Mindbreaker and create a massive Mill combo.
So, if the opponent has the 4 mana Jace that reads "If you have no cards in your library and can't draw a card, you win a card" or even the Scientist card that reads the same effect. Would you insta concede on that or let them have the win?
You can at least attempt to attack Jace or hope that they don't read enough to block with the Scientist

You last game, probably coyld have just cast 2 of the artifact from your graveyard and won that way
I don’t understand why these I win in one turn decks are not more popular in Historic.
Mindbreaker + Bruvac had a pretty good run when brothers war came out, you still see it knocking about in Mythic sometimes. I think people get bored or they don't have the wildcards
