Very good overview of our society's stress and need for the "optimum"...everything...and control! Thank you. Most interesting.
Hey Lena! I am glad you enjoyed the content! Yes, unfortunately as you and me know, it's everywhere. I literally saw a video titled this the other day: "The detriments of caffeine" on a very big youtube channel. It's all fear of fear!
Hey Nick. Quality as per, would love to see a ROCD perspective on perfectionism. Highly critical of my partner and fear of "settling" cheers man 💪
Hey ECT! I can definitely do that! So I see a push press as your photo! lolll
Excellent - ❤ the stress test comment @ our over structure - perfectionism
New fear unlocked: what if my rigid beliefs kept changing and increasing and eventually what if I'll never be able to dispute them all because they are just never-ending so I'll always be in a great amount of pain and mental misery
Great catch buddy! The classic fear of fear!
What if it morphs forever?
What if I have too many fears and can't figure it out?
So true. I have struggled with this all of my life. Getting better but at times it flares up..
Hey Kristy! That's awesome you're working on this! I can relate to how badly I struggled with this as well - you got this!
I don’t watch people that I feel like I’m going to compare myself too. For so long I had body image problems and wanted to be tall and skinny and now know I’m never going to be like that. I wonder if people with ocd struggle with body dismorphia too..
Oh absolutely Kristy! I work with a lot of people with body dysmorphia for sure! In a society that's hyped focused on comparing looks it's a sweet spot for OCD to latch on too! Mine was "What if I am fat" "What if I have no muscle" etc. etc.
