Some 01's had the dana 50 front differential and they aren't as good as the dana 60. Still the best diesel engine around.

I agree. Mine is almost identical except I have 2001 f250 extcab short bed 135k miles I paid 14,500 for mine about 10 months ago in last August (that’s CAD, was about $11,200 USD at the time of my purchase)

It's really not that much money when you look at the trucks overall condition and you have to look at what a new truck will cost you not to mention there is not many 2022 available. So that to is also what is inflating the price . Welcome to joe Bidens new world of inflated prices and manufactured supply chain issues...
