I still own this unit and use it occasionally when we have power outtages in Houston, TX. At least until I turn on the generator, haha. Sad to see the company go under, but one of the more successful Kick starter campaigns I was involved in and I actually received the product!
Hi. I just got a 601 at discount prices. Unfortunately, I can only find the .apk and not the iPhone app ... which looks to be removed from the appstore. Anyone happen to have the installable .ipa?
Resmed makes a 12 v adapter for the resmed s9 machine you were using. You don’t need to put it thru a inverter the power pack does that for you . The other thing is don’t use your humidifier you will save a lot of battery life on you set up . I have been camping with my cpap for years this way my battery set Up will run cpap for 4 days before I have to recharge my battery back up. Good video
Can you lead on how and where you got an adapter for your cpap? Im disabled and need a bipap at night. I live along the gulf coast with hurricanes and power outages.. Thank you.
Absolutely correct...the bigger the panel the faster the charge, however these power packs usually have a maximum input. I can't find a max rating on their website but a 200wh panel should put out around 100wh consistently. That's about what a wall plug would put out so it should work. They estimate the panel would take 18-19 hours to charge the pack where a wall plug would do it in 10-11 hours (from empty)
Seeing as how the CPAP only drained it to 83%, do you reckon you'd be able to use the solar panel throughout the day to charge it back up to 100%? How many nights do you reckon you could keep your CPAP going by supplementing it with solar throughout the day?
I do. They aren't cheap (usually about $70-$80), but if you're camping a lot it's definitely worth it. It's a much more efficient way to power the machine so you get a longer charge from the battery
I got my Yeti 150 as mostly for an emergency backup for when we have another blackout for any length of time for my dad as he needs a CPAP machine. To be honest that 70 - 80 bucks will be well spent if he had to use it in an emergency. My next challenge is getting some off brand solar panels from Harbor Freight to work with the Yeti.
Yes, the panel will charge the pack but it takes a while (as with most solar options). It would probably run the 12v fridge, but that all depends on the brand and energy requirements. For example, if the fridge drew 100 watts continuously and this was a 500 watt hour pack, it could run it for approximately 5 hours
It is hard for me to get a bead on this review without knowing if you actually paid for the machine? Was it given to you, or were you paid to review it? It's ok if it was given to you for a review, just disclose it, because that is the feeling I am getting here, lol.
You have to be the best battery back up guy out there. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching!

Wow I really like that. I have been looking into getting a solar generator to run my CPAP machine for camping black outs etc. This looks really good.
You really need to check out the inergy Kodiak solar generator, it will make you give that one away to somebody.
Would like to see a test of this unit vs the Kodiak
Great Review man! this product is a blast! thanks

I also use the humidifier on my c-pap. Do you prefer this or the yetti? Thanks
great vid! how would you compare the goal zero product with this?

That 40 watt panel will take a few days to charge the battery from empty. Think 200 or more watts for a full charge in an afternoon.

Question sir. If i wanted to plug a single electric burner or maybe a rice steamer while camping is this adequate?
No this doesnt have enough power output

Yes, it really did well with my CPAP and if I could charge it during the day, I could use it continuously for an extended period of time
How about with humidifier turned off?
My dad has a C-pap machine like yours and I may have missed that but do you have a 12 volt adapter for your machine instead of using the AC cord?

there is alot you can do with DC-DC converters that are 90% efficient so no inverter just reduces weight and idle runtime.
you should really get a DC CPAP keep your mains powered one at home!
Is the solar panel strong enough solo to charge the pack? And can it run a 12v portable fridge? And for how long?
Thanks for the review

Goal Zero Yeti 3000 please test it out
