जो भी हो AMW ट्रक सबसे जबरदस्त थे टिपर में इनका कोई तोड़ नही था man के ट्रक सबसे बकवास
एएमडब्ल्यू कमिन्स के इंजिन लगाते थे, जो टाटा मे लगते है, बाकी कल्याणी फोर्ज का एक्सल बिम, टिव्हीएस सुंदरम का एयर ब्रेक सिस्टिम, एटॉन का गेयरबॉक्स जो मार्केट से लगाकर असेंम्बल करके देती थी.
Khichai bahut acchi thi amw ki.aur overload me bhi patta nahi tuta hoga kabhi .bahtarin gadi thi tipper me.
AMW only assembled the final product. They outsourced everything from outside, hardly produced anything inhouse. They hardly did any R&D inhouse, so the company was deemed for downfall. Companies like TATA and Ashok Leyland spend a lot on inhouse R&Ds.
Yes r&d is most important. This company's fall is similar to Micromax. Zero on R&D.
At least they did work on it's reliability and durability ! Most car/truck manufacturers that utilized parts from other companies for making their trucks often faced reliability issues ! While many who own this truck and have never complained about reliability !

I had worked with AMW service centre.. mark my words this trucks are awesome.. undoubtedly best in the market in those day sad to see that due bad decision company had to shutdown.. but it's still in the hearts of owner

I can share you a AMW certified tech who is superb at his Mechanical skills .. who now does his own work under contract or individual service in Ghodbunder
1987 mein Ek aur truck mila karti thi jis mein hitech features hua karte the jaise AC etc...aur wo thi "Hindustan Isuzu" trucks....us ke bhi kuch hua ke wo bhi band ho gayee....is par ek video banaye bhai.....

I worked in a mining company back in 2005, but never seen a single AMW truck there.

Maybe they should innovate in order to make their trucks more advanced from TATA , mahindra , volvo etc ! Use a detroit v8 engine over a cummins 5.9 6 cylinder , Eaton's latest electronic limited slip differential , a new AMT with variable gear select , heated seats , etc !

Ye company Essar controlled thi aur engine sayed Chinese tha. Ye company shayed Essar steel aur group ki company ke karan problem me ayi hogi.
Essar backing is correct but engines were always Cunmins. Had visited their factory often.
