🔥 Britain 🇬🇧 Could Be Held To Ransom For Food!

  • Опубліковано 13 чер 2024
  • I spoke to ‪@talktv‬ last week about Save British Farming's London Rally to explain what is making British farmers resort to demonstrating.
Global events like Covid and Ukraine war have contributed to make things a lot worse, but the real problems facing farmers are due to successful British Governments allowing a supermarket monopoly. But #brexit has added an accelerator to #britishfarming demise with loss of subsidies, bad trade deals opening a flood of substandard imports, inadequate import checks, loss of labour supply and buckets of pettifogging bureaucracy for us to export to our biggest market in the EU.

Are you saying that there was a milk shortage in Ireland immediately after Brexit?
This would not make a lot of sense, really. Where would the extra supply come from, as cows from anywhere dont just turn on or off on demand. This means that increasing supply somewhere depletes supply elsewhere. Milk is a commodity that doesn't age well.

This is exactly what Jacob Rees-Mogg and his cronies wanted. Import food. For that you now have New Zealand and Australia. Job done, just like Brexit. Get Brexit done and done it is. Hopefully British farmers will take their protests to the doors of GB News as well as to Talk TV since they were and still are in support of the situation British Farmers and fishermen are in. Hope the farmers do not forget their silos full of fertilizers.

I agree. The farmers, though ignorant as evidenced by their votes for Brexit and a Tory government, need to be supported because no-one in government have their backs.
In my opinion, they will only get any sort of support if they are vocal on TV and other media about how they were lied to and misled by individuals such as Farage, Johnson, Rees-Mogg, Davies etc and organisations such as GB News and Talk TV.
The fisherman have taken a back seat for too long and need to join the farmers to expose the lies and those behind it.

The value of all currencies goes up and down. It wasn't that long ago the euro dropped below the dollar. Now we are seeing the start of the dedollarisation and the euro zone debt getting out of hand once again. Another financial crash is just around the corner and the UK needs to be as far away from the EU so not to be dragged down when it's currency fails.

There are two approaches farmers can take just as any other business. You either scream you want more money for the same goods where you know that will trash your market share, or you figure out clever ways to use modern technology to increase output and cut running costs. The first way is going to lead to failure but is easy to do. The second method would lead to success but needs brains. Unfortunately those brains are preoccupied screaming at Westminster politicians and Nigel Farage. Do you recall how Red Robbo's campaign panned out in the 70s, or Arthur Scargill's? Talk to the government by all means, but talk to them about employing modern technology and maybe talk to a few universities that you might be able to work with. Use automation to cut labour costs. Im gonna blaspheme here and say something cruel but needed.
I think that the Eu wants the Uk anexed as a vassal state after a decade or two and british farming will be passively crippled over the years along with other UK industries that could be seen as allowing independence from the Eu. I say passively cause we arent necessarily doing anything to cripple it but more like we have an unspoken agreement to not trade directly and let it crumble on its own.
Consider EU as an empire and Uk as an unruly state that has hoarded much wealth over the years and decided to declare indepedence, an empire could either send the military and put order via an ocupation or just economically cripple the area by removing bussinesses, closing borders to negate trade and making sure that all produce and goods are imported from other much more loyal states.
The funny thing here is that the Uk basicially did most of that job by themselves with brexit and that the EU just needs to have an internal unspoken agreement to just ignore any of those bussineses such as farming and let them die on their own over a decade or two.
The day the Uk rejoins the EU , among others , farming has to be dead by then.

Each week and month, less tax will go to the exchequer, every day in Britain, businesses are closing, reducing in size and moving to Europe, where the population of half a billion are able to spend money for the products and services. Organisations are also closing or moving away, usually to the European mainland. Every time this happens, less turnover with taxable profit is lost. This extremely severe spiral of decline is now begining to show, empty office buildings, warehouses, factories are apearing in every neighbourhood and this is accelerating daily. Read Bloomberg, Reuters and the FT to confirm what I write here. This loss of economic activity is terminal. If it continues long enough, there will litterally be nothing left. There is no good reason for industry and commerce to remain in Great Britain except to seevice the local economy of just 60 million, not very economically well off, slightly unhealthy and un educated peasants as customers. You will have noticed less places open and fewer trades taking place in your locality already, just look at your high street or drive around your local industrial park or office district. For Sale and To Let are far too prevalent. Hopefully someone prominent will notify the press, and the population in time to force a way to re connect with the half billion wealthy customers just one days truckride away from our farms and factories soon, very soon. We dont have much more than a year or so to correct this shitshow, before we are forced to eat cardboard in the dark. Don't believe me? Then sit on your fat arse for just a few more months and then watch your hospital close, and hear the anouncements that government employees are to be sent home without pay. Just watch.
