It is the curse of choices, when you are good at a lot of things, you simply do not invest in any of them and just stagnate. You just wait to commit in fear of losing the other choices or choosing the "wrong" one. The sad part is , when you do commit, you will prolly change your mind later and leave that choice and go for another.
Haley deserved to have a blooming photography career. Imagine how much depth it would've added to her character. Haley deserved so much better. I don't care that she ended up with Dylan, but I really wanted her to have an amazing career!!!!!!
The show runners really fumbled Hailey in the final season. I do get that the actor who played Andy was busy with other projects, but that could have been a great way to end Hailey's story in the show too. Have her prosper in her job, she always had a way with fashion afterall, and become more invested in her own artistic side. If Andy wasn't an option due to scheduling, fine. After years of hopping from boy to boy, have her realize she doesn't need someone in her life to validate her, and give her purpose, but that she can find it for herself.
I mean, not everyone in life figures that out quickly. We still have women in their 40’s basing their self worth on men. She had a realistic (for the character) character growth. It is just a show🤷♀️🤷♀️

The show did Haley so dirty. And I'm not even talking about the pregnancy cause I know she was supposed to parallel Claire. But it was always said Claire would have had a great career if she hadn't gotten pregnant, while with Hailey, it went from "she's dumb and hopeless" to "look how good she is at this! We're all shocked!" and then BACK TO THE FIRST STEP. Over and over again, they made her seem helpless and purposeless, which was not true. Instead fucking Manny, who had no talent in anything, which everyone knew, was shown as bright and great. Hailey was a great character and a great girl. Too bad the show and her own family didn't appreciate her.
