For all you young ones, Rich Little was the "Frank Caliendo" of the 1970's and 80's. This isn't even close to the repetoire of different impressions he can do. He is still the KING!
Rich was always respectful of his subjects...managed to walk that line for decades, scandal and drama free...truly a professional for that alone, nevermind top notch impressions and humor!
Saw Rich in person last weekend and he still does great impressions. Many of the jokes were the same as in this video but still glad I was able to see him before he calls it a day. Great memories over the years.
I'm 54 years old now, and I've always liked Rich Little ever since I was a kid. He stands among the best impressionists in the world. Rich is truly "The Man of a Thousand Voices".
MY FAVORITE of all time...Rich Little...I miss seeing him on TV....he's a CLASS act...brilliant as always...never fails...another fantastic Canadian artist/entertainer.. .thanks for posting!
I saw him in Vegas in 1990...funny as hell. I have seen a lot of comedians and he was by far the funniest of them all. He shared the stage with Carol Channing who also cracked me up laughing....very funny lady.
Simply awesome! Hats off to Rich Little on a legendary career! I remember watching him as a kid and enjoying his performances. He was the BEST! I am an adult now and nothing has changed. Great performance and Rich is still the best!
I saw him live at the Circle Star Theatre in San Carlos California in the late 70's. What a phenominal show. He ended it with an impression of Tom Jones, singing and dancing exactly like him. With the strobe lights going you could not tell it wasn't Tom Jones. Where has all the talent gone? I'm so glad at least these memories exist on tape!
yes...he has carson timing and timing is everything...little does not nail voices like others, but he OWNS the stage...people think the voice is everything, it is not, mannerisms, and the energy of the personality...
When he first started telling that joke the punchline was, "Name two big hits, two big mitts...and a Country-and-Western singer." Very funny either way.
Rich Little is "the original" he is the first impressionist I can remember, he is a pioneer and trend setter, he paved the way for all of the new impressionists! I recently inherited a vinyl record (album) from my folks, it is a signed copy from when he did a show in Houston, Texas back in the early 70's. He was a regular on Johnny Carson, I would say that he set the standard, I believe that he set the bar pretty high. I like the new guy "Caliendo" too, he is good!
+You need to realize I don't give a fuck He is the typo gestapo. I wonder if this word Nazi is as ashamed of himself as his parents are of him. They troll the internet for a sense of self worth but he's never going to find it that way.
@jbond5150 Well, have another look at the video. The audience definitely was laughing-and laughter from a high percentage of the onlookers present means the consensus is that something funny has just taken place. And the only thing that was happening immediately preceding the laughter, was Rich Little doing impressions. So the only possible conclusion is(drumroll Ladeez and Gentlemen)-he was funny. Maybe it's just you that lacks a sense of humor perhaps? Cheers-hope I was able to help.
Rich is a talented man, and was great for his time, and he still is. The only problem is that a new generation has come along, and impressionists like Frank Caliendo have really raised the bar on this kind of comedy
Still laughing, so funny! He still make me laugh. Because he never insult the person he pretend to be. Always good humor with nothing but good intentions. Be nice to get back to those old days!
Reagan and Carson. He could say anything with those voices and it would be funny. Rich Little inspired me to do voices as a child. When I was 8 I did Redd Foxx and Muhammad Ali. Rich Little was the best ever.
He did magnificent impressions when the celebrities were magnificent to imitate. Nowadays, it's nearly impossible to distinguish one pretty boy from another, or one ditzy cover girl from the next. But Jimmy Stewart, Jack Benny, Johnny Carson, John Wayne..... And Rich Little did them all and more! He will always be the best in my book.
Hands down ,the best impressionist ever--and his material was excellent. I think if TV wasn't so blah these days, we'd see more of him on the tube, where he would be very welcomed again.
My introduction to Rich Little was an episode of MacGyver; and I thought he was great. So when I found this clip by accident, I had to watch. I've seen it several times and it still cracks me up. In my opinion, he's a class act because he made me laugh and never said a dirty word...that's kind of a rarity these days. Kudos to him.
I had the priveldge of meeting him in his dressing room. I knew his drummer and he brought me back stage to meet him. This was back in the late 60's in Vegas.
Rich Little has been one of the best immataters of all times. Of course, he's clean and this generation, old and new do not seem to appreciate that. I do. He doesn't need to say who he is impersonating except to the younger folks who may not recognize his very clear impersonations. He's great and he's funny.
I think most would remember the people he does here. He is a master though, and he was a regular on the Johnny Carson show and the old Dean Martin roasts. There might be a lot of people who don't remember some of those, but he did all the Presidents of his generation and the actors of that time. I've seen a lot of good impressionists, but he could do practically anyone. Really amazing. I'm sure there are routines on here. Jimmy Stewart, Don Rickles, John Wayne, Carol Channing, George Burns+ more

This whole performance just screams professional. I get the feeling if he went on for another hour the audience would want more. Class act.
For sure. Clever
Holy crap that Reagan impression was impeccable!! Lol
The greatest impressionist of all time! I NEVER get tired of listening to him! Even his old routines are still funny. Always clean and new.
Rich was always respectful of his subjects...managed to walk that line for decades, scandal and drama free...truly a professional for that alone, nevermind top notch impressions and humor!
🤣Rich Little never gets old. He's just that good👍🏻
Saw Rich in person last weekend and he still does great impressions. Many of the jokes were the same as in this video but still glad I was able to see him before he calls it a day. Great memories over the years.
Best ever. Not just impeccable impressions, but great material as well.
All these years and Rich is still making us laugh. What a talent.
he's the KING of impression! Damn...he's good!
I'm 54 years old now, and I've always liked Rich Little ever since I was a kid. He stands among the best impressionists in the world. Rich is truly "The Man of a Thousand Voices".
54 also... brings back memories and rich was the best!
Rick Wright Rich Little is the King and than Frank Caliendo took over. Though Frank is hitting middle age so I wonder who will take over from him?
didnt think you would be the target audience for the boondocks
@@Tronman63
All of Frank Caliendo's impressions sound alike.
@@Tronman63. "and than"????
No one compares to Rich. He is simply the best and will always be the best at impressions.
MY FAVORITE of all time...Rich Little...I miss seeing him on TV....he's a CLASS act...brilliant as always...never fails...another fantastic Canadian artist/entertainer.. .thanks for posting!
What a talented man. Love this. We need to laugh again.
I saw him in Vegas in 1990...funny as hell. I have seen a lot of comedians and he was by far the funniest of them all. He shared the stage with Carol Channing who also cracked me up laughing....very funny lady.
He's a good impressionist but was never funny.
I had tears watching this. Rich has been around forever. His Reagan is brilliant.
A master of his craft, I grew up laughing at him for years.
Simply awesome! Hats off to Rich Little on a legendary career! I remember watching him as a kid and enjoying his performances. He was the BEST! I am an adult now and nothing has changed. Great performance and Rich is still the best!
Rich Little is a class act. His impressions are timeless and will be the gold standard for others to follow.......
Rich Little will always be the best first impressionist.
I grew up watching him. This is the first time I've seen him in years. I laughed my butt off.
I am now 55 and been a fan since the 70's of this man, Rich is the KING!
What a master. No one does impressions so perfectly like Rich Little.
The BEST ever!!!! No one will ever come close to what this man can do with his hilarious impersonations.
"If you choke a smurf, what color would he turn?"
LOL
LMAO
This comment was more than 12 years ago, dang
Old joke. Sorry.
He still got it, just as funny as ever!
Watched him as a kid and I am 63 now. Just love this man and there is none better!
THE MASTER AT WORK!!!!! NAILED REAGAN!
rich little is a great impressionist. the older people like myself will remember him always. the dean martin comedy roasts was one place R.L. shined.
I've got a Perry Como Christmas vhs tape with him impersonating Raymond Burr,(Perry Mason) it's freakin histarical!!
His impressions are what catch your attention, but he's also got great jokes and superior delivery too. Just a damn good comedian.
What a funny man......Watched him through my entire life.....
I remember watching his T.V. series back in the 70's.
He's still good today, as he was three decades ago.
And he still cracks me up.....LMAO
It takes a great comedian to pull off silence as the punchline of a joke... No matter how many times you watch it is still funny.
yes...he has carson timing and timing is everything...little does not nail voices like others, but he OWNS the stage...people think the voice is everything, it is not, mannerisms, and the energy of the personality...

He'll always be the best! Younger generation, take note and respect the man.
My favorite impressionist. He helped get our country through trying times. All my respect.
Rich Little, still looks good and still on top of his game...Just listen to the crowd roar.
You not only have to get the voice right...but you have to be funny. Classic
It takes a very special talent and personality to be able to do both.
This man was great. When he appeared on Carson it always made the show special. 😺😺😺🇺🇸
Rich Little, Frank Gorshin & Jim Carrey are one of the best impressionists ever, in my opinion. absolutely great !
Absolutely hysterical. Rich Little is one of the greatest impressionists ever to grace a stage. Brilliant. Thanks for posting this!
Wow, still had it in 2006. Genuinely funny. I love the continuity of show business. True talent spans time.
Rich is truly one of the first icons of Canadian comics .
This man has never lost a beat in all the years he's been doing this... he still puts me on my ass laughing every time...
You liked the smurf joke, didn`t you? The smurf is already blue. 😄
He's the best and there will never be another like him.
Not only does he do an awesome job of the voices but also the mannerisms of the individuals it is a blast to watch thank you so much for sharing

I'm cracking up here. It's like Johnny is in the room.

The greatest that ever was, perhaps ever will be, Rich Little
He still is one of worlds first great impressionist.
And he is almost flawless.
@jbond5150 Yes that's why the audience was laughing.🙄👍

Happy Birthday Rich Little..
@Jarod Sahni @Maddux Eugene wow! I dont give a damn!
Woah throwback
His Richard Nixon was absolutely spot on. Not only voice, the mannerisms. You could be looking at Nixon himself.
The best impersonator that ever lived.
Rich gets the voices and mannerisms spot on, better than anyone else! Probably the best there ever will be!
along with frank gorshin - 2 immortals of entertainment
I remember as a young girl watching this legendary impressionist. Wonderful to see this clip haha.
From Dean Martin's celebrity roasts to now he has just gotten better ... he deserves legendary status
He's still one of the best there has ever been.

Wow. Richard Nixon did a great Rich Little impression.
Scary, isn't it! Lol
They say if you make a face long enough, you’ll grow into it! Nixon was one of Rich Littles’s more famous impressions...
Loved him on the dean martin roasts..... Love to see TV like those days again.
Huckabee show
One of the best, if not the best impressionist in the world.
Rich Little is the greatest impressionist EVER! I saw him recently in person. He was excellent! Love the man.
Yeah, the master and king of impressions! Thanks.
Too funny, not a curse word whatsoever..........What real Comedy should be!
RICH LITTLE DOESNT HAVE TO CURSE GREAT COMICS DONT AFTER
Intelligent people know that all caps =/= correct.
Whether or not it has cursing doesn't effect it being "real comedy", comedy is what you find funny it's not a set thing
Dean Power I agree, although I wish you had a better grasp of sentence structure...
robert szvetics For someone who condones not swearing, you seem to contradict yourself.
LOL!! Rich Little is brilliant ! Just as clever and funny , as he was back in the 70's!
It's almost impossible to beleive I became a fan in the 70's. He has mastered impressions for decades.
Hands down ,the best impressionist ever--and his material was excellent. I think if TV wasn't so blah these days, we'd see more of him on the tube, where he would be very welcomed again.
Michael Klein TV is great today.
Tv great today? Hahahaha!!! Tv sucks now

Rich Little is a legend and you can tell he entertined for people like Sinatra by the way he's dressed.
Rich Little is the greatest impressionist ever.
the Andy Rooney was my favorite. All he did was complain at the end of 60 Minutes.
I kept waiting for him to say "I'm not a crook!"
"If you choke a Smurf, what color would he turn?".... LOL!!! 🤣
