This video reviews a new convertible single/tandem *inflatable* kayak, and shows you some practical tips to get you up and running. Can you use an automatic air pump to inflate a kayak, or must you use a hand pump? Which valve fitting do I need? Does it fit back in the bag? I'll answer these questions and more. In short, though, it's surprisingly rugged and durable, looks sharp, and saves a TON of space in the garage and car. Highly recommended...it's my new favorite outdoor activity.
⬇SUMMARY OF PUMP OPTIONS + WINNER BASED ON PRICE + CONVENIENCE⬇
1. Manufacturer's dual pump: $40-45 (pricey + manual, but has gauge)
2. Third-party dual pump: $17-19 (affordable, but manual + no gauge)
3. 🏆 Third-party ($17-19) + battery-powered auto pump ($20-30) = $37-49 🏆
4. Manufacturer's ($40-45) + battery-powered auto pump ($20-30) = $60-75
FYI: I initially inflated chamber 1 in this video incorrectly; chamber 1 should not be fully inflated as per the instructions. Just follow the instructions, and you'll be fine.

You need a psi gauge on pump. You dont want to over inflate it can be very bad
