I've been watching you since long before anyone upgraded to expensive cameras, and the original beauty gurus began putting out amazing content filmed on potatoes. 😅 I can understand some of your conflict just in terms of letting go of objects since I struggle with hoarding. We put so much significance and sentimentally into objects. It's hard to let go when something has run its course but been so intrinsic to personal growth. (I wasn't able to let go of my first car until I literally inherited it back from my Mom - along with her 74yr old hoard of objects she never let go of. 😮) You still have everything that you produced and accomplished with that camera, intangibles though they are, so I hope that makes it easier in the long run! You were savvy to sell while it's still valuable. Luckily, tech is improving so rapidly, you'll probably have a phone camera that is superior in the future, and that tool will represent your flexibility, adaptability, knowledge, and success as much as the old camera did. I am not sure about your other viewers but to me I grew up watching your makeup tutorials and learned to be creative with makeup from you. I can't say you changed my life but you were a big part of my life when I was younger. Ugh, that is VERY scary. It's really sad that inflation is affecting everyone around the world like this....people just taking advantage from a terrible situation that JUST happened to us...and skyrocketing everything from there is--terrible. That's all that can be said about it. But I think you're doing the smart thing. I really wish I had the time and means to be able to grow more stuff. I do enjoy watching your videos--they inspire me to start planning some things while *I* can, and have the means to start it up and do so. Friggen nuts. Stay safe and healthy

Thanks so much for your offer, but Patreon wasn't a system that worked for me (everytime i couldn't upload I felt SO guilty it was making me sick). This current system works beautifully for me. Way more direct and I love how easy it is to interact with everyone.
I agree with another comment. Set up a garden fund. Maybe ask people if theyd like to see you harvest and how you prepare your grown food. Inflation is horrifying on so many levels. My family and I have had to sell sentimental items in the past just to cover bills. It's never an easy thing to do. Wishing you all the love ❤
It's so hard making these decisions, well done you! It's ok to have these feelings. I once had to say goodbye to my beautiful 200-year-old violin which had the loveliest personality. I hung on to that for far too long and there were tears, but it was the right thing to do. I was too disabled to play any more and we desperately needed money for rent, so that gave me the final push, but the finality of that was hard.
