My 2018 won’t move ! Only has the primary speed sensor A at fault . Does this mean the transmission is done? I was on the highway it it just went into limp mode then I pulled to the side of the road and it wouldn’t move on reverse or drive.
What did you end up doing with your car bro because I also have 2018 Nissa. Altima I diagnosed it with my dealer then to ammco they say Transmission fail with that code CVT ???
Did you have any warning? I'm trying to figure out if I dare drive ours on mountain highways to get it home. On one recent trip ours started stuttering on acceleration. Mechanic found a code then didn't on the next 2 short trips.
My 2014 Nissan Sentra was misdiagnosed multiple times by mechanics & Nissan dealership (no codes were pending or stored in ECU but car had major drivability issues including LIMP MODE, RPM SURGING, NO ACCELERATION BUT HIGH RPMS) got it back from another mechanic, a code finally popped up. P0965 solenoid B. Mechanics refuse to work on it, or change trans fluid. Dealership wants me to pay diagnostic fee of 175$ again just to be told I need a new transmission $3500-7500 repair cvt transmission. More than my car is even worth, decided to junk my Nissan and get a used car.
@@HardWorkENT23 it is still driving without a issue. I was told by a mechanic, it could be there there has been a issue in the past, and the mechanic working on is did not clear the code. I bought my car with 79K miles now it has 90K without issues.
Replace the transmission computer called TCM. no other way to cure it. comes pre programmed from the dealer just let specialized shop transfer the data from the old to the new one with a pro level scanner
I literally have the same code on my 2015 2.5 altima, taking it to nissan on tuesday to get the really bad news. Probably just gonna end up selling my car as is to the dealer
I have the same problem with my 2018 nissan altima sl 2.5l with cvt. I am beyond angry about how nissan us handling this issue. Many people don't have any problems till after 100,000 miles, like my case. Hopefully nissan is doing something about this issue. Any law firms helping with this cvt transmission issue ?? Please help
so a new belt set and valve body was all that would have been needed? upgrade the pump and pressure valve while in there?
My 2018 nissan rogue support SL just got the code P0776 at 74k miles. Says my pressure control solenoid.. what does it mean the car is done with?

my 2017 altima has the SAME issue. i just hit 100k miles.. NEVER buying anything CVT again. Did you pay to get it fixed? if so, how much was it?
a new car falling apart so quickly. What a pile of junk
