Sounds great and Frank is always fantastic. He gives ya - The Bass-face !!!
I was going to comment about the bass-face. It is almost more epic than the playing.
Frank Itt can make anything sound fantastic but this is a great sounding bass
Mayones quality and Frank’s playing, a wonderful combination!
You don´t mess with Frank Itt... a Legend!!!
Probably one of the best modern basses in the world today. Beautiful sounds and amazing craftsmanship.
one of the best bass-sound I have heard in the last years.I would like to have one
A “MONSTER” bass for a “MONSTER” player! Nice!😌🎶👍🏾
Excellent !!! Frank is an awesome bass player !!!!
Damn Frankie!! Some serious chops goin on Buddy!! Lovely tone and craftsmanship!! Peace brothers
I actually love the brass looking hardware!
Beautiful looking Bass sounds fantastic
Awesome bass awesome demo super channel. That bass sounds really good.
Nice bass, thanks Gregor, thanks Frank.
Just so much in this Vid . Amazing German accent- ✅ amazing bass ✅ amazing bass face ✅
this is the best sounding PJ i’ve heard. it sounds clear and balanced, not suffering from the nasal timbres that tend to befall a lot of PJs
totally agree!
Good point
I am surprised that Sassafras was hard for you to pronounce, you certainly speak English better than I speak German.😊 The word is pronounced sas- sa-fras with all short vowel sounds.
As for that Mayones Hadrien Feraud Signature bass, it is beautiful and sounds beautiful. I wonder why Feraud wanted a PJ? I have never heard him play the P-pickup on his bass.
this was more of a bit than a real issue ;)
I LOVE those Yamaha Basses in the background!
Wowww!!!!
What a great looking instrument! Amazing.
"Or Hadrien has a secret parallel disco career we just don't know about" 😄 Another amazing video as always. Thanks 🤗👍👍👍
Great review!
amazing! I'd love to play one!
Sounds wonderful
Always Enjoy Your Video
That is a gorgeous bass!
Damn!! Those are some tasty and funky riffs. Love it!!!
That colour! ❤️
Itt’s LIT! 🔥🔥🔥
AWESOME BASS PLAYED BY SUPER AWESOME FRANK ITT!!! 🎸🎶🎶🎶
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love that style of bridge. They look like vintage bridges but they are hefty enough to get the high mass advatage (and are very warm if they have brass saddles)
YAY UNCLE GREGOR IS BACK
Beautiful
Geiler Bass..... Und geiler Player... Frank ist echt eine Maschine 😍
That fingerboard
Cort has started using sassafras as a sustainable replacement for swamp ash. According to them, it doesn't quite sound the same but is similar in weight.
Nice bass and that tone is just too nice.
Hey Frank-A smile is a frown turned upside down.
Fantastic! Mayones basses are great indeed.
Nice!!!
This.Looks.So.Awesome
Sassafras. A lovely tree with hand sized leaves. The root has a wonderful fragrance, like rootbeer. Sarsaparilla soda is made from this. The dried leaves are ground into a powder used sometimes in gumbo. File'.
Great demo and Im Hadrien fan ...🙂
I'd love to see a review of sterling basses!
I bought the Stingray SS-4 and it exceeded my expectations. I love it. Really impressive. $549 - oNe LoVe from NYC
Yes! More 24 fret PJs!
...also, are that TWO Yamaha SBVs in the background?
You gotta catch them all 😋
Go Frank Go!!!
Frank can always market the "bass face."
Damn that’s one sexy bass!!! Sounds killer!! Wow!!! I usually don’t like gold hardware but this works!! Very nice case too!!
I mean the Bass face while he plays...💯👍
WANT!!!
Frank Itt is the man!
I want one. I want that one.
achei legal o fato de o Ary Toledo tocar baixo também, parabéns!
Comentário de brasileiro
Great bass and demo. Frank channeling Paul Jackson for a bit.
I play guitar but i really would love to learn bass, perhaps when i start working.
Frank.is the Man !!!
A great bass
Queda demostrado que el factor más importante en cuanto a timbre son las manos de cada bajista, en manos de Hadrien el bajo adquiere un sonido completamente espectacular muy distante al de este video que es más tradicional y similar a cualquier Fender
Beautiful looking (and sounding) bass, but agreed chrome or even black hardware would be a good option. Thanks!
The Cort GB 75 now has an up-market brother, I see.
Saw frank in the thumbnail ,,clicked ,,,,what a nice bass
Nice 👌
Perfect professional p-bass, in my opinion :)
Frank the *Face* is just cracking me! By the look and play both.
cool
Dos bajos en uno 👏🏻🤯💦
you have another video where you also play the H String ?
Nice one @basstheworld
Which of Hadrien Feraud's signature basses do you prefer ?
His JB is one of the best basses we've ever reviewed here - for me it's definitely his Jabba with the spruce top
What do you like more about the spruce top HF vs this PJ?
The bassface in strong in this one.
Very lively sounding bass.
The fretboard radius looks very flat - is it curved at all?
20" radius
WOW x2
Frank RULEZ!
What would be the price range to this bass guitar?
Gold hardware rules!
very nice, btw rootbeer used to be made from sassafrass and it was delicious. the companies quit useing sassafrass because it was supposed to have been proven carcinogenic. i could be wrong, but it doesnt taste the same anymore
Good meat & potatoes working man's bass, & Frank is awesome as usual 😀👍
HOW MUCH IS THIS WONDERFUL AX
gibts den auch in ner anderen Farbe? und wann für wie teuer?
Is that a second SBV I spotted there 👀
YES 😅
Where to buy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome looking bass. Sounds good. What's the retail $ ?
Probabaly @ $3k.. hard to get pricing info - or any info at all here in the USA
$3,800
Great... another Jazz P Bass hybrid... to go with the others.
What basses out there have really deep sound
look for things with large humbucking pickups close to the neck or middle position. the closer a pickup is to the neck of a guitar the more vibration it picks up from the strings, bringing forward more lows but also loses some midrange character (sounds more 'woody" and adds more low end 'thump') and will also mellow out treble
@@dirtlord7257 thank you Michael
DUDE
Price please
I have been playing bass for over 40 years and I have yet to learn how to make that "bass face" LOL
what's the weight of the bass?
Slightly above 4kg
Looks very much like a Sire headstock
Sassafras is a North American tree whose root bark is the origin of sarsaparilla and root beer.
Anybody ever tell you you are the spitting image of Gunther in the movie Sing, Ya?
I dont know why, but i like frank utt as the talent to play the bass…
Sorry but you no said if the bass is 34" or 35" inches scale...
it's 34.25"
If you ever had root beer, then you know Sassafras.
WHY YOU DONT MENTIONED HOW $$$$ IT COST????????
german accent is incredible
Frank laying down the stank..
I've been pronouncing it like Mayonnaise for years
I think that bass lacks a few more pickups...........
I mentioned long ago how as a bass player I get little to no respect playing it from other musicians which made me want to give up on bass and try something else. At that point i'd been playing for 6 years already. I was just sick of no one caring how I improved. This is a well known fact that all bass players get. Example: Davie504 and CharlesBerthoud both did vids on that subject in a joke manner to show they to have had the same experience while learning. However this channels owner just treated me like crap and told me to not be a bass player. So rather then finding a community I can relate to and talk with, I got told "give up then" and "you're not a bass player just a liar". FYI, I never gave up, just found real people to talk to instead of thrash like you.
Buddy, play for yourself, who cares what anyone else says? If you love what you do, enjoy playing and practicing, just keep at it man. Wish you all the best, please don't stop playing.
I'm sure I've never discouraged anyone from playing bass. I believe our mission is rather the contrary. Sure you got the right channel with this comment?
You telling me he DIDN'T play the Seinfeld bass?
Is he in pain?
hmmmm it,s a 5 string........ why you played just 4 ?
