    Hey ladies just thought I'd share that I've noticed when I change what I eat, the hair doesn't grow back as fast. Whenever I eat processed foods, foods high in sugar, dairy or meat (hormones in these foods), the hair grows back annoyingly fast like the next day or two days later. Also the unnatural products we use on our skin and hair causes the excess facial hair growth (mineral oil is one of them). Tons of beauty products has mineral oil in it...big no no! Your body is most sensitive to these things around your menstruation cycle time, so you'll find yourself growing unwanted excess hair faster using the unhealthy products. Like they say, "Don't use anything on your face that you can't eat! Any healthy fruits and vegetables can be used on your face as part of your regular skin care routine. Tomatoes, potatoes, honey, turmeric, apple cider vinegar, egg yolk, avocado, bananas....the list goes on. I've actually experienced better and faster results since using natural things on my face. I use to spend a ridiculous amount of money on unnatural health damaging products, which has it's limitations on clearing issues. Feed your skin the natural stuff. Turmeric gradually rids your face of noticeable hair by thinning out the hair until it slows or stops the growth. Like with any product, give it time to work. The facial hair has damaged my self esteem so much! Glad us women are finally sticking together and sharing remedies for our embarrassing journey.❤️

    I have lost weight and changed my diet, but the thing that got the ball rolling for slowing down and thinning my facial hair was learning the metaphysical cause.! a lot of us with access hair (all that I personally know) have been forced to harden ourselves in one way or another. --> not having a father, being a parent while you're a child to yourself or siblings, not feeling protected or cared for, raising kids alone, these situations cause us to have to "man up" and go at certain things alone. A lot of the time putting our emotional nature on the back burner. It's ok to be soft, to need help, to cry. Once I healed a lot of this needing to be tough and allow myself to cry and receive help. My body started wanting plant based foods, I've lost weight, and my facial hair is softer thinner and less frequent, I know it'll be gone soon. Just my story thought I'd share

      Yes yes yes! I highly recommend the documentary “Heal,” it is all about the mind-body connection. I just recently watched it and had an epiphany when I was watching it, that I’ve spent a lot of my life thinking and saying “I wish I was a guy,” usually in the context of a desire for masculine relation/affirmation (which I have had a lack of from my father/other men in my life). I was in a mindset of desiring masculinity in order to be seen/heard/loved, and my body has been listening in on these words! I too have felt drawn to plant foods on this journey. It’s too soon to tell, but I believe that if I can heal this aspect of myself, the hair will go as well :) Thank you for sharing your story, it warms me to know others experience a similar reality.

    I literally want to cry watching this video. I'm only half way through it and I can already tell I FINALLY found solid solutions to my facial hair problem. I have the same exact issue in the same areas. It started to develop around the end of high school but the past few years it's gotten so much worse. Waxing was a decent temporary fix but it's no longer good enough. This has always affected my confidence but it's drastically making me insecure now to where I barely feel comfortable taking pictures anymore. Lately I've been getting serious about finding a permanent solution so this was a God send. I'm still looking into getting laser this year but for now these are solutions I needed. Thank you so much!!!

    I have PCOS. Not sure if anyone addressed this, but I recently discovered that adding cinnamon to green tea, and spearmint tea is very effective (quite quickly I might add) at reducing the amount of facial/body hair. I've been taking it every day like medicine and I am so pleased to see results. One other tip, for those who do not want to spend money on the exfoliation device, a regular pumice stone works great.

    • @phoebek640
      @phoebek640 4 роки тому

      Hi, I see that you drank the spearmint tea for hair grown. I'm going to start this week with it. Have you continued to use it since you posted this comment? Have the results continued to be impressive? Is the hair gone?

    • @lesliebean4594
      @lesliebean4594 4 роки тому +1

      Hi Phoebe K! I was taking it pretty regularly, but was having some issues with my blood sugar dropping, and spiking. Most likely due to insulin resistance. So, I had to cut back, and do some trial and error. Everyone’s system is different, and hopefully it won’t effect you the same way. Just be cautious and aware as you take it. I started instead taking about a half to a full tsp. A day of cinnamon with a little cayenne pepper and it actually seems to be even more effective. However, on an empty stomach the cayenne does tend to cause some stomach upset, so you may want to take it with food. Also, if you take it in powder form, and not capsules be sure to have water in your mouth first. I learned that the hard way lol I’d love to hear how it works for you. So, please do keep me posted 😊

      @@lesliebean4594 thank you so much for all the helpful information! It's been such a struggle since I was about 15 (I'm 27) and I don't know how I've never heard of any of these natural remedies! I tried laser, of course it didn't work. And I can't afford electrolysis so I've been doing more research. I can't wait to try the tea and I'm going to order some cayenne pepper pills today! I'm so happy to hear you're having results and thank you for the warning, I'll definitely be cautious. Have a wonderful day 🙂

    • @lesliebean4594
      @lesliebean4594 4 роки тому

      Phoebe K You’re most welcome. I am so happy to help! I totally relate. My issues started in my mid teens too, and progressively worsened. I wasn’t diagnosed until 29 when I was trying to get pregnant. I have only recently heard of most of the natural remedies myself (10 years later) Through research of my own. They push pharmaceuticals so much I feel they’re not about to admit the answer has been in our cupboards all along lol Another great mix for pcos is Kan herbs licorice and peony. That, just like the cinnamon and cayenne seems to offer more immediate results. Unfortunately, licorice root does not mix well with my blood pressure, so I also had to stop taking that. I plan to cut the pills and see if a smaller dose works, but, I recently found out I am pregnant so, I’ll definitely be waiting on that. One thing I have learned every bit the hard way, waxing, tweezing, laser and electrolysis will not work if there is still a remaining hormonal imbalance. But, I’m finding more hope these days, that there are natural treatments even if there is “no cure” .. it can be healed and reversed. But, it does require consistency with the right mix of things. Before I forget, wild yam is also good for balancing hormones. If you hear of any I haven’t yet mentioned I’d love to hear about them. I wish you the best of health and healing. Keep your heart up, it does get better!

I tried laser and it worked over time , but it’s so expensive, I couldn’t keep doing it anymore and it all just grew back. Now, it’s worse than ever. I can barely show my face and I’m miserable with it. Anyways, I have sensitive and dry skin as well. I’ve been using extra virgin coconut oil to help kill bacteria and dryness, and it seems to help. I have a lot of excess facial hair too, and what I found REALLY works is turmeric masks. Just make a paste of turmeric/water, not too thin, and scrub your face with it. Leave on atleast 30 min as often as you can. I try to do this every evening before bed, and wash off following a natural moisturizer. I highly recommend this

It's kind of hereditary, on my dad side of family, because all of his sisters had facial hair. Myself and my sisters suffers from this. I sometimes just let it grow, because I get weak from all the plucking, lol! I do shave and use alcohol and ceteaphil moisturizer everyday and the moisturizer helps with getting rid of the bumps. I have PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) which causes the same issues of excess hair. The only FDA approved method of removal is electrolysis. The main issue with electrolysis is that it can leave scarring if done incorrectly and if you're in direct sunlight with 3 days afterwards. Thank you for making this video - this has been a MASSIVE self confidence issue for me. If you're noticing that you also have a belly bump that won't go away, as well as excess body hair and discomfort in your ovaries (similiar to period pain) then there's a good chance that you may have PCOS. There is a certain type of pill (used for controlling periods) called Juliette which helps with excess symptoms of PCOS as it has an extra boost of estrogen in it.

    Annoying problem! I have PCOS which gives facial hair. Luckily it’s quite sparse but over the years my skin is discoloured quite badly and I’m trying to lighten the dark area around my chin. I’m very grateful for your advice and the products you have shared. I will try ❤them and see what happens. I don’t like wearing makeup but forced to do so whenever I go out because the dark area around my chin is so embarrassing. So, the less you pluck the less quicker they grow. The day I can go out with an even facial skin tone without makeup would be the happiest day of my life. Honestly thanks so much for sharing your journey and how to deal with this. I don’t really have hyper pigmentation but I get access hair on my chin and especially my neck. It didn’t start until after I had my son. I started with shaving but I feel like that made it worse. Then I used hair removal creams which irritated my skin. I then bought some wax strips from the drugstore but they weren’t strong enough to remove all the hair. So now I jus pluck them with tweezers. It’s so time consuming. I didn’t kno so many women suffer from these same issues. It’s extremely embarrassing. I can’t wait until it’s cold enough to wear a scarf.

BUT a ***very important*** TIP I can share... is u have to b mindful of the products that u put in ur HAIR... bcuz it gets onto ur PILLOW & then onto ur FACE!!!!!! I had severe ingrowns & blemishes... but once i switched to natural oils & water for my hair, i dont have that problem anymore😊 Also, exfoiliating & toning (witch hazel) is essential. & threading hair removal method is very effective ✔

    I have facial hair under my chin and I prefer to cut it down instead of shaving and plucking. I use to pluck but it caused my skin to turn dark because when you pluck it causes the blood to flow in that area. But, my question to you is when you shave; what kind of razor do you use and also does the shaving cause the hairs to come in rougher and does it leave a shadow? The reason for my question is that I want to try another alternative instead of cutting. Thank you.

    Reading through the comments I've seen a couple responses from people telling this girl she has PCOS. the only way to know for sure is by having lab work done at a doctor's office. I self diagnosed myself with PCOS & after having labs done twice by my PCP & the endocrinologist & they both say my hormones are within normal levels.

    • @misssweetlikecake

      My hormones are within normal levels as well (had labs done twice as well, 4 years apart), but an echo showed more than 20 cysts on each ovary. I haven’t had my period in 8 months and have weightgain and hirsutism. So I do have the diagnosis PCOS. Maybe get an echo just to be sure. You dont have to have all the symptoms.

      I'm the same, I have hirsuitism and seriously thinning hair but blood tests showed my hormone levels were very good and my symptoms are atypical, I'd they have no clue what the cause is!

    • @aruallauraarual

      @@ruthmcilveen3089 @Ruth, have you had a internal ultrasound? My general practitioner kept waving my issues away, but I persisted to get a internal ultrasound and check up with an actual gynecologist (I actually had to get upset with her before she granted my wish). And within 2 seconds, the gyno noticed my ovaries full of cysts! She said that yes I definitly have pcos and it was good of me to not give up. Now I can take steps to help my health and reduce risk of certain health issues that are linked to PCOS. Though I had all the symptoms but one, the hormone levels. You say your symptoms are atypical so it might just be genetics? I hope you find out what the cause of your symptoms are, good luck!
