I would figure out how much that truck can pull and that should answer your question a 14 foot dump trailer will weigh about 4000 pounds so if you put 10,000 pounds inside of it that means you’re pulling 14,000 pounds… That is a very big load for a 350 gas motor

I've run a few different types of dump trailers, and thought the lifting designs could be better. You’ll want a double axle trailer which usually holds about 6000-8000lbs easy.
I would not use over a 10 foot trailer

I totally agree with you that’s the way that a dump truck is actually set up. The scissor lift is an interior design for sure
