Having 3 pawns makes the game so much more fun. But be sure to regularly hire new pawns. Pawns at your level or lower are free, but they don't level in your world. So as you level, you'll wanna dismiss other peoples pawns and hire new ones that are stronger. Also you can pick your party for specific situations because you can see all their equipped abilities if it's like the first one.
Pretty important in normal fights, too.
There is a few hidden enemies right at the start if you explore caves. You bettet bring a torch or someone inclinating towards pyromaniac ambitions. Just saying...
Was exploring and found chimera in waterfall cave. Had a frin on my face
@@Mayhzon found my first minotaur in a cave. Slimes were cool too. And then found a sick chest that spawned a lich and a skeleton army in the chamber with me 🤣 I wasn't ready
If this is anything like the first game, you want to have all 3 pawns in your party, especially if you're not very familiar with the game's mechanics, since weaknesses to different elements are pretty important in boss fights.
Also, I'm looking forward to a lot more episodes of this!

It's a straight upgrade. I didn't think they'd do it, but Capcom these glorious bastards actually delivered. Feels good, looks good, plays good. First Triple A release in years I buy at launch and that delivers. NOICE.

Hey Myth!
You can choose pawns that are higher or lower level than you so can adjust the challenge that way. Higher level pawns will cost more RC and lower level pawns won't cost anything but having pawns close to your level shouldn't make the game too easy. Also as Broskus has already implied having a mage with a healing spell and buffs is super helpful ;)

U should definitely fill your party having a full party of pawns will not make it easier they fill in the attributes u lack so u won't get screwed over especially when fighting certain enemies cause u can't do everything yourself in this game

Your pawn learn from your actions. I dunno how it works in DD2 but if you want him to start throwing you, start picking up your party members and throwing them at enemies.
You can only make one main pawn, and for someone to make a really stupid looking one just for you to maybe play with them, would be kinda ass for the owner of the pawn, since they are stuck with them forever. Until they get the item that allows them to change their appearance, that is.

If you’re wanting to be the mystic spearhand you’re going the complete wrong way or maybe the right way, I only know of one way to unlock it and I’m pretty sure you’ve progressed too much to do that now (you’ve also missed a lot of side content)

I'm enjoying this game so much, I played a ton of the original on 360 and when it came to PC I was so hyped and it was so good there as well and I was always hoping for a sequel and that day has finally come.
I'm level 30ish now and haven't even advanced the main story past arriving at the capital, the world has so much more to find in exploration now and the larger enemies are so much fun to fight. The balance is way better than the original and the combat is a lot better as well, I'm loving it.
The performance issues sucks for those without the highest end processors and gpu, but the rest of the outrage over stuff you can get in game so easily is stupid, especially when it's the same kind of stuff in Monster Hunter but no one pays attention to how much pointless DLC that game has, lol.

Really enjoying the game, but as someone who has never played a DD game before, the save system is the worst I have ever seen in a game. You absolutely have to save after eberhtbubg, there's no loading of other saves, and if you accidentally reload at the last inn you can lose hours worth of progress. Other than that I'm happy with it and it runs fine on my series X.
At least the game constantly autosaves.
Im pretty sure it is intentional to deny save scumming since the game wants you to hard lock in decisions. Imo it makes the game more intense when you risk failing a quest or doing something wrong

Bg3 on console is really good especially since they made radial wheels instead of just making the right stick act like a mouse like some console ports do
It's been fairly stable for me. Only negative is the framerate being 30 at the moment.

I really liked the microtransctions in a 70$ single player game, the inability to change my character's appearance without paying 2$ and also the fact that there's only one save file without being able to delete it. Truly incredible game, a pinnacle of modern marketing and game design. Truly wow. Much amazed.
Every microtransaction you can buy is freely obtainable in the game the same goes for character creation, you just need to get a book of metaphomorsis from a guy who sells you these to then change your appearance. It seems like most of the people who say this never actually Played the game
@@Echidna825 Actually you're absolutely right. But it was still pretty bad for them to include microtransactions like that. They are truly pointless. At least they're not cosmetics that would make it much worse imo. A lot of people overreacted (including me) when they heard about MTX in this game...

I will be replaying the first game, since I had to refund Dragon's Dogma 2 from the poor performance and malicious microtransactions. It's crazy how many people left out the negatives on reviews until the game came out.. Like as if they were payed off. MMmm HHMM!
